Stevco it looks like you are doing the right type of learning,but you need too play some music along the way,maybe if you look you will find some of the songs you like to play by searching the artist catagory and find a few easy ones too strum the chords too. There are also beginners songbooks in the public books section here, many of the members here will also give you Ideas on who tooplay in the beginning. Creededance clearwater has alot of easy tunes,and the beatles and bob dylan also have some easy ones.I know I would not have gone on too play if I did not have some songs too play along the way. If you do alot of on and off you should not be off for very long the more you practice daily the more you will get ahead,also Zguitar has an great point about using an acoustic.

I don't understand the whole soda machines for students thing anyway.
The govenment is trying too keep the kids from drinking sodas,so they have been taking it off the school areas. They want too put there noses in on most our own freedoms and they can not even run the country right.

hi easy,I never had a uke,but I no there are alot of uke players here maybe someone will see it and know which ones too use. I would imagine the same guitar string makers would make uke strings so you might want too get some of name brands out there.

I feel glad my days are done raising mine,I can see some ofwhat I went through by reading your posts.I had a double whammy though I was done with my two sons and after that I got re-married and three more came with the deal,that made my life pretty bad as I really had too play a balancing act. We somehow got through it,and I do not think I would do the stepkids again.

sorry beamer,if I listened to that any more I would go nuts,nothing personal,I just do not like that music,if you really consider it music Our military used this type of music too drive a dictator too himself up some years ago,they played it loud and drove around his home for a period,and he gave up because he could not handle listening too it.
