OK, in the "afraid of what's under the bed" category.  I used to dream about wierd clicking and rattling noises in the middle of the night.  I would lay there under the covers in my dark room afraid of the sounds coming seemingly from underneath my bed.  I would lay there for the longest time in fear.  Finally when I got up the nerve to lean over and look under the bed, where the sounds definitely were coming from, I carefully lifted the overhanging covers and looked and there was an old fashioned typewriter clanging and jumping at me.  It used to scare the hell out me.

Singing helps.  Are you a decent singer.  As stated above, good strumming comes with a lot of practice for some of us.  Singing with it usually helps, but that too, takes practice.  Stick with it.  You'll notice yourself getting better.  I promise.  It has a lot to do with, not only playing and singing the song, but feeling the song as you do it. Another thing I do is put the pick down and finger pick a random pattern, thumb for top three strings and a finger for the bottom three strings.  Patterns are good, but random works.

I can read into your dream.  Soon, you will start a band called the Bumpy Worms.  People will boo you often, as being shown by people being eaten up.
I think maybe you should start drinking.

He did great at Woodstock.  I have always like Joe.  He's got some strange mannerisms, doesn't he? That was funny.

Thankyou for posting that Southpaw.  I have never heard of her, but I really like her style.  Someone else for me to follow.

Beer and guitar.  What a combo.  My kind of celebration.  Happy Birthday

Yes, Ravenlady, I should give Amy a break.   Buvvy, I agree with you on some of those.  Those were the days my friend.  I thought they'd never end.  Oh, and Mary Hopkins

OK, Joan Baez.  Now we're on a roll.  Amy Whinehouse?

this one might be right up there.

Patsy is another timeless singer.  I agree, Zurf

There is one female singer I have always liked.  Back in the hippy days.  A different voice, different style.  Melanie Safka.

You're exactly right RavenLady.  And American Idol brings a new dimension to the table.  Overnight sucesses and then they get out on their own and can't make it.  Although, some do, obviously.  There seems to be too much out there all at once.  Life was much simpler back then.

I feel exactly the same as Upyerkilt.  I have never liked female singers that much.  I seldom buy any of their music.  Oh there are some exceptions, and there are many great female singers out there, however this Susan Tedeschi sounds great.  I must admit, I don't know her, but I do like her style.  I might buy her greatest hits.

I planted a lot of trees and bushes in my new home three years ago.  I watch them closely because I really need the shade in the summer, but that won't be for a year or two more.  I grow peppers and melons if I can keep the gophers away.  I also have a lot of flowers in the summer.

Welcome, KajiMa.  A great introduction, by the way.  I feel I know you already.  Hand around, there's lots to do here, as you already know.  Good luck.

It has been my experience that most music shops don't mention the setup when you buy.  I don't know if it's that they just don't want the extra work or what.  I have also set mine up myself.  Just as long as you turn it in slow increments.  It can make a big difference.  Good luck. It sounds as if you got it right the first time.  Good for you.

I'm usually pretty good on searches like this, but I came up with nothing for this one

Sounds interesting.  I would watch it.

I think you have to delete the part you don't want to quote.  Try that.  Quote me and delete one sentence.

You are in the Twilight Zone.  I've never had this happen, but thought I would post to keep it on top so admin won't miss it.  I'm curious, too.  Good luck

This one is a favorite. An oldie by Marmalade
