That was a goood clip of two guitar gods,I think robbie did well with eric, but eric is more of a bluesman robbie is more of I can play anything you throw out there. Ithink the best I have ever seen was when Eric and Mark Knoffler played toghter.

That is too badl loosing another artist, seems we areloosing alot of rockers over the past week.

Just heard Levon Helm of the band is going through the last stages of cancer,he is 71. Drummer singer, and songwriter. I remember him doing alot of lead singing on many of the bands songs, the Weight and a few others. seems we are losing alot of artist's this year.

Glad too hear he got them back.

The news is saying that he will pay a large reward to get them back.

I think I will wait and go to my local dealers,I would be violating my rule about buying a guitar on the web, meanwhile I am getting a good education about wood's.

Thats funny,I feel for your neighbor in the wheelchair.Did they ever catch him or did they really try. It would make a good song if you use your imagination.

I am a 100% I can not be there but I want too be. Wish I was not so far away. I hope you all have a great time and do some pictures and videos to share with us wannabee's.

I do not think you got a good deal at all,I would complain, but thats only my opinion. You might print out the price on the guitar they traded you for,I am a little familier with the alverez and they make a pretty good guitar. In the future you might ask some of the members here first, you can also sell your stuff here.

That true, and I think our government should not have too make a business wait so long before they do something. I would not buy a gibson right now or in the near future because of this unless I could get a factory verification on the material qualities.

I heard on the news today gibson is pushing the dept of justice to get on with thier case about the wood, they were busted for in2009 and 2011. It appers that they are having too use woods not as good as they would like, and that the wood the gov. took is not being stored correctly. The gibson CEO is saying it is hurting there sales. This may not be a good time too buy a gibson. Amy I hope you read this as I know your husband was thinking of buying one.

Good song jim!

You got mine zurf,I do not go too church but I do belive in a higher power.

Strange that this should come up as my friend Howard was telling me only a couple of days ago about his time in America some years ago when he bought only the second karaoke system to be sold there.

He was asked to do a gig at a veterans care home and one wheelchair bound young man started singing to the songs. The staff were amazed as this guy had never uttered a sound or responded to any other stimulus in his time there. The reaction from many others was very favourable too and a good time was had by all.

Howard never got a repeat gig, the staff were so impressed with the reaction from their patients that they bought their own system to include it as regular therapy.

Roger
