I'll probably do some BBQing (deer steaks and hams) later today and the guitar will be played. Sundays I like to play gospel tunes - at least thats how it starts out.

I agree with the opinions above, there will neve be another band like the beatles,it would be good too see them all toghter and maybe do a couple of beatles tunes as well as there own. I have heard Danny Harrison and he can play well.

As a woman with kids, I also have to add... your first labor and delivery - and the pain associated with it that no one can really warn you enough for!  LOL!

JJJ you have two right, but the ladies have all my attenion,I watched my sons birth and I would not ever want too go through that myself,I will say it was the most amazing thing I have ever expierienced. I thing I would replace first guitar with my first car.

I just returned from another of Toney's gigs where I was thrilled to sit in during a break. This was the biggest crowd yet as they were having a chili cook-off competition ( raised over $300 for hospice - awesome!) and it drew a pretty good crowd. I did 6 songs and felt more comfortable than ever. I swear the Skype jams are adding greatly to my confidence. Lots of applause between songs, pats on the back and hand shakes after my "mini-set".

It gets better every time and is now beginning to actually be fun! (No more nervous trembling). I'm no Toney Hall, but if I can have fun and get a positive response from the audience... that's pretty damn great!!

Good for you topdown, sounds like yo are getting in a comfort zone with performing!

I think bill purcells is a great couch but he is militant the way he treats his players. I know one rule they want too put in is reviewing all turnovers!!
