Don't know what to say about this one. I have a stack of love/lie letters my wife saved when I was in jail. I take them out and read them sometimes to see how far Ive come and to see how many steps Ive taken back. Promises that turned into unintentional lies, Stories of a time that would be better forgotten. Expressions of love and want that will never go away. I guess what Im trying to say is this one hits home for me. Very well done, daddy.

you did a great job on this one!

So this makes the guitar sound louder? What else does it do for the sound of the guitar. Ive never seen or heard of anyone doing that before. Sure looks cool..... Im sorry I should have read the post before me!!

Ive been trying to see more music but to no avail. We just had a huge biker rally that my wife took the kids to. Puddle of Mud, Fishbone, Grandfunk Railroad. I'm still recuperating from a friends bachelor in Albuquerque this weekend. I had way to much fun!!!

I think I under stand what your saying, they do sell an adapter that goes into a regular guitar cable type thing that Id plug into a 1/4 plug in?

I just got a new mike and it has  the 3 prongs on it instead of the regular one.{ does that make sense?} I thought I'd be able to plug it into my computer but I cant. Do they sell some sort of adapter for them or is there some way I could plug my pa into my computer to use the mike? Any help or advice would be appreciated  , this probably should have went into the recording section, my apologies

I guess I should have not posted to offer help since I will end up with rediculous comments like the previous one by SouthPaw41L the moderator.

I did say EASY MUSIC THEORY, not quantum physics.   Theory can easily get very complicated but doesn't have to be.

I will keep checking back to hopefully see some REAL interest instead of wisecracks.

I think he was just messing with you. I wouldn't take offense. Some easy to follow theory lessons would be great.

I like this one. I love anything about the sea. Why I moved to the desert is beyond me. Well done.

Unfortunately we had a flood at my house and most of my kids pictures were destroyed. I like the way the Bb and the F go together. Ive never thought of using them in that sequence.

One for the kiddo's? Sang it to my 3 year old and it passed the test. Now she's asking for Mr Wobbly. I'll have to commit this one to memory

Hey Detman.
That sounded great. Way more balanced. I think you sounded more sure of your self. I love the sound of your guitar. Great job to all of you. Is it hard playing in a choir with all those people? Seems like it would be hard not to step on anyone's toes.

I dont get offend if nobody reads or responds to my songs. I try not to take it personal. Recordings do help. I understand your frustrations but I dont think its personal. Just keep them coming.

Rush is an awesome power trio. Geddy Lee inspired a whole lot of bass players, from metallica to Les Claypool.  I'd agree with Geoaguiar in saying their very underrated. Neal Pert is one of the most skilled drummers Ive ever heard.

I would learn all the songs that you love to listen to. Play them backwards, forwards, side to side, etc. Find the key their in and try to come up with your own little riff to accompany it. Learn all the scales you can. Hope that helps a little

I believe that songs called Stack o 'Lee by Mississippi John Hurt. Theirs a lot of different versions. but Hurts is by far the best.

I have a Rouge acoustic bass, I was wondering if on an acoustic bass do you put regular electric bass strings or do they sell acoustic bass strings?

I assumed she asked a question, got answer and couldn't find it. But like you said if its her first post then why did it show up like that. Maybe she was searching for a song? I dont know. Sorry I dont really have anything to offer. I just thought it was funny

That was pretty cool. I myself is trying to learn to play slide. Not past the messing around stage. Great job
