what this is all about is: if you play lead guitar just post an answer to this and you dont have to be a great soloist only willing to help other members with adding some guitar riffs or chords to there arrangments you can contact each other in this forum page, remember this is for original music not copy songs. I know this is all new to you but I am adding my name first russell, also included in this page are rhythm guitar players so even it you cant shred a lead as long as you can play some chords you'll be fine smile

fender makes a terrible looking resonator (in my opinion) i dont know how it sounds but the the sound wholes are in the shape of the fender logo. ugly stuff.

somebody correct me  if im wrong, but they are use in open tuning right?

To be sure "smokin joe"has a very bright future thanks for the link nice way to start my day smile

I thought it would be a good idea to take a look at this again, When the "idea 2" was first proposed it was with the hope that we could share with each other out talents.....It has been a while since "idea 2 was first posted in Chordie and with all the settling in and getting used to this new recording forum it occurred to me that we have only scratched the surface but it is a beginning,I would like to see the recording forum add individual topics for bass, guitar, keyboard and rhythm and that members could brows these pages and focus in on what instruments they would like to have on there recordings. It will start small in the beginning but eventually members can request someone to add a bass or guitar, keyboard ect.. to there recording,The easiest way would be for all those who wish to participate register with mediafire so they can exchange recordings art designs even tutorials, an alternative to mediafire is Google talk where
files can be handed to each other from your desktop without having to download from the Internet if you don't know how to do this it will be discussed in the coming days but keep in mind "do not request help recording someone else's copyrighted songs that you do not have permission to use and this includes cover songs in this forum" right now I would recommend reading "Idea 2 to get a feel for the whole picture and to offer your own ideas so I can shape this into something everyone can use and enjoy. Radchael that may well be true for some men but I usually get confused reading the manual first and call for help on google talk lol

No disrespect or offence taken, Russell..!   As i post more on the forum, & you 'get to know' me better, you'll discover my sense of humour is rather dry.. lol....

But, you're absolulely right, that there are marked differences between men & women.. like, for instance, a woman will read a manual when she gets a new piece of equipment, where-as a man, will turn it on & expect to know how it works without reading the manual.. then get annoyed 'cos he can't work it..!  wink

Kenny I have charted out the song and practice it each day, I go over the lead guitar solo and rhythm tracks and I am useing a keyboard player who is very talented and I gave him a copy of the song and wrote a chart for him to practice to and we will get together before the session and run over the song a few times so we are comfortable with it and not waste valuable studio time rehearsing it we will have it down before recording it in order to cut down the retakes I think we can do it in one take, the song is "Another Day" and if all go's well I will also record "Breezzin" to smile
