Every one at my house ,but me, is getting over being sick. I was really worried about my wife for awhile. She still has a pretty bad cough. We had to take my daughter to the doctor. I guess my turn is coming here pretty soon.

Great song, Alan. I also liked the guitar but like Russell said the vocals kinda fade in and out. Other then that, well done

Great song, Alan! Ilove the delivery of the words, they fit the song very well. I also liked "guitar on my coat" Is that one posted on Chordie?, Opps! I just saw it, sorry about that.

If you want inspiration, this guy (Tony Furtado) opened for Eric Johnson and boy what a talented slide player.  You might can tell he started out on banjo.

I meant the movie, not the country!

Great poem, Lena. Seems alot of this is going around theses days. When will we wake up? I put your poem in a simple 1 4 5 in D and it sang very well.

I work with kids, and as a daily duty, I'm required to search them before they enter the school. You'd be suprised how many of them bring weapons to school. You cant catch it all, unfortantly. Just today a kid tried to stab another kid before I intervened. Blows my mind

I actually googled this: us charts: Olivia Newton John, physical. uk charts: human league: dont forget me. Ive never heard either

Your life will be better off if you can keep it that way.  The only thing interesting about it is that Olivia Newton John had quite large hair in her video for Physical, but even given the overprocessed standards of the 1980s, Human League outdid her in hair product usage by every measure: volume, color, cut, etc.  And they're guys.  I think.  Pretty sure.

I didnt know where to post this so I,m sorry if its in the wrong thread. I just got a resonator guitar and I'm trying to learn to play slide guitar. My questions are what type of scales work best in standard tuning for slide and what is the difference between a glass slide and a metal one. I just ordered a metal one and I'm wondering if that was the right choice. Oh and does any one know of a good web site that shows slide scale patterns in tab form? Any help would be much apperiated

I love duets. You are a poet my friend. Who ya gonna get to sing the female part? Am always trying to get the wife to sing with me but our vocal ranges are so different. Also, I looked for Home County Time on chordie but couldnt find it. Maybe you could post that one? I'd love to learn how to play it. Sorry I inserted a question in an unrelated thread

Ive got three kids, cookies and snacks always come up missing at my house. We usally find the remains of empty boxes in my daughter's closet or under her bed. Even if I hide them, she'll find them. She's smart like that.
