Also take tumeric in vege capsules every day.

You can try rubbing organic castor oil into your aching joints,  especially at night before bed so it soaks in through the night.  But use whenever you think to put it on.  It won't work straight away, but it's one of those things that the more you use it, the more it helps.

He certainly was a character as is Sharon his wife.

Good to hear a female cover this, gave it different dynamic.

I like Louis Armstrongs Jazz stuff and I like Amy Winehouse jazz style though she did cross into other genres as well.  I like some jazz but I find a lot of it just to slow for me.

That is so good Jim, lots of really good lines in there, all the better if based off a true story.  I can`t give you any advice as I am not much of a song writer or blues player but love what you have done with this song.

Really good - reminds me of Joan Baez

Lovely, really enjoyed that, she gets a big thumbs up from me.

This months FSOTM is COUNTRY.    So as usual looking for any COUNTRY song you would like to perform.  A COVER or an ORIGINAL you have written or would like someone to try and perform for you.

Below are a couple of suggestions from members you may like to try:

No Love in Oklahoma – Luke Combs
Take Me Home Country Road – John Denver

READY, SET, GO!!!!

Definitely the ROCK vibe going on in that one Richard, awesome.  Vocals were hard to hear though on this one.  Different band to the original? they performed well.

Really good Peatle, I particularly liked the Knoxville Town one, Americana style, those ladies nailed it.  I would love to perform music like that.

You have done it again TIGLJK, wow!  What a song, love the lyrics to this love story.

Thanks for sharing TIGLJK, I do have a fondness for Irish sounding music smile

Anymore suggestions?

Another rock song I wrote:

Or the non-video version is here:

https://richardmortimer.bandcamp.com/track/that-night

Bass, drums and guitar were recorded from a jam onto an 8 track analog recorder in the 90's sometime, with the song being chopped up and adding vocal and effects in 2023. My brother and I worked on this song a long time ago, it's changed a lot since the original deep synth version.

That Night - Richard Mortimer

Really good neophytte, the whole package put together is great.  Have you posted this previously? I feel like I have watched this one before?  Anyway, it was worth watching again if you have smile

Absolutely loved this one TIGLJK, your best yet.  The lyrics are great, the singers awesome and the music is fantastic with it.  Can't fault it.  It has both a Rock and Country sound.

NIcely covered neophytte, you made it your own, nice ambience with the candle too.

Grah1, that a great song, good choice.

Neophytte, I have always thought of Country Roads as Country rather than Rock.

neophytte, the cover of ~One More Rainy Day~ was really good, you covered with well with your own style, enjoyed it.

~Fiction Love~, you and the band totally performed your song like a Rock band should and it was great to watch and listen.  I did struggle to hear the lyrics though but maybe that my hearing lol.
