Thanks Peatle, your always very kind. Feeling a bit rusty and out of touch with performing these days. I haven't really played that much since the covid era crap when every thing shut down and groups didn't get together much anymore etc. I dont tend to play as much as I used too, probably not motivated on my own as much.
Richard, that was very different cover of Valerie, liked your take on it. Gorgeous backdrop you're playing in as well. I have played this song a few times myself on the ukulele a long time ago, I never quite mastered it but if I can I will try to cover it again (however rusty I am with performing these days).

Peatle, good message in that song, "you can rise" along with the other lyrics in there. Great to see you back entering a song for us, an original and by you, awesome.
On a side note.... We (hubby and me) were watching something on You Tube the other night and your video came up on the side as it does with videos we have watched. My hubby says to me, "hey I saw those signs the other day when I was in the city". I laughed and told him, that you written and performed this song and would have photographed those signs when you were in the city because you do that and sometime that you interview different people in the streets of Wellington City and you must have used them for your song.

Wow amazing video to watch Peatle, I love true stories like that. All it took was one person to come up with an idea, make it happen and it helped so many young people find a purpose, find enjoyment, find talents they never knew they had. Wonderful.

Bill, I can`t even imagine you being arrogant and you wouldn't be the only one on planet earth who have somehow thought they were immortal, especially when it comes to health or life stuff. I am glad you have survived from having a heart attack and are here to tell us about it. I for one and I know the other people on here miss your regular presence in Chordie with your conversation and presence. I hope you continue to visit here with us all and you are missed very much by us here on Chordie.

Another good performance and having the harmonica really makes it pop. Agee though with you, the vocals quite distorted in this one.

I like what you have done with the oil painting scenes in this Jim, suits the song. You should have had a career in songwriting and visual art of some sort.

Nice one mojo, great piece of writing there. A song many people can relate to in various ways, how things change. On a side note, we have large pine forests here in NZ and nothing grows other than the trees, those trees kill everything else. Are we going to hear you sing this one?
