Gidday
thanks for the replies,i don`t think i made my point very well.
I guess what i was trying to say is something like, it would be nice
if there was more of a community feel of support for all.
More of a conversation, the closest we get to this is the wonderful
support Bill gets through his rough times.
But the same doesn`t really apply to peoples music making.
hope this makes some kind of sense.

I`ve noticed on many soundcloud tracks eg originals & chordie song of mth.
the only chordians that bother to make a comment are myself/Peatle & Jan.
Many chordians are only here to take, there is very little giving.Having said that there are lots of lovely people here.
Of course this is only a personal view.hope i haven`t pissed too many people off stating it.
look forward to your replies?

Ok,Peatle got me started on this,so any complaints,he`s the man to complain to
this is not Cat Stevens more like Rat Stevens.but it is `father & son`.sort of.

come on guys, the question isn`t whats your favourite song.
It`s more about what song would you recommend or introduce to someone.
Hopefully one they are not aware of.

Gidday Beamer
at the most unexpected times.
Lately i`ve learned to block out ideas.
I had so many going round my head i found it distracting.
I didn`t see any point in writing them down.
so now i only bother occasionally.
looking forward to your end result.

Good question.i hope you give a reply, after we have.
can`t think of one,but it would have to be a Van Morrison song.
Not that i`m a huge fan,it`s just that he is unique & always interesting.
maybe `here stands the glass`

Re: Tribute acts love em or hate em? (14 replies, posted in Chordie's Chat Corner)
Cover songs pay the bills.
It`s as simple as that,i prefer originals. But lets face it the huge majority
of bands do covers.Although i saw The Bootleg Beatle Band.Great night of
music. If ya can`t see the real thing a good cover is sometimes ok.

I use capo to stop me getting in a rut.
A friend told me recently to tune one of my guitars down 1 tone.( D i think)
i did this and i hated the sound, but after playing a while it is now my go to guitar.
can still play all the usual chord shapes, but it has an interesting sound now.
so think i`ll always keep one guitar tuned this way.Love It!

Re: Software for backup at performances (7 replies, posted in Chordie's Chat Corner)
Maybe it`s a digitek Trio
you play a simple chord progression,it listens & learns it.
then it comes up with the bass & drum parts to match.
from the settings you can do hundreds of different genres/sound
