i still disagree, i think all kids are different, some walk at 15 months some walk at 18 months, some talk early some talk late. some pee the bed till there 10, some stop as soon as their out of diapers. we become" herd animals". that is something the school teaches them, atleast here in america. when they come out of the womb its mom and dad and thats who there a attached, everyone else is just a stranger. my little girl runs away from other little kids as does my son. though it it is good for them to "hang "with other kids most of them are introverts, so hanging out with other kids or peole is painful.
i think it totally dedends on the kid.

all kids are unique and should be treated as such. what works for one kid doesnt work for another, every day is unique and you learn something new so you adpapt as it comes. to take a way a childs uniqueness robbs them of the chance to become something we all need, which is indentity.

i knoe for a fact my playing has gotten 100% better since logging on to chordie.com. aside from all the songs i find here, my song writing has gotten better because of all the inspiration and praise ive gotten. never a bad word about my songs, just constructive critsism. i dont remember who, but one of the regulars here has a song book with alot of intresting scales. so my lead has improved alot. thank you to all the chordians, and thank you espically to guitardocphil for all the wonderful questions that keep me thinking!!!

what type of stuff do you play on the guitar? that would be easier to start. im not all that attached to lyrics and i think it would be kinda of fun to see someone elses musical take on my lyrics.

i read every once in a while if i get in the mood, and i can find something that interests me. Last year I read Johnny Cash's autobiography, which was pretty cool cuz he talks about alot of old country guys.
I read the Bible, but I don;t think that's really the same thing...A good read is the Foxfire books, written by students who interviewed a bunch of old mountain peoples. Neat accounts of uses for woods and things, and folklore remedies are hilarious.
To cure spider bite they said you should drink strong liqour from 7:00 pm till morning,
for a sore throat your sposed to get a work boot that smells really funky and tie it around your neck sos you can smell it lol
