So dear friends, we all share the same passion, MUSIC, ARTISTS, BANDS, WRITERS. I believe most of us have got that "ONE SPECIAL MOMENT" contact with your favorite singer, band. You stand in front of him/her with your mouth open trying to say something, but nothing happens. We can call it maybe OUR SPINAL TAP moment, but in fact it isn't a spinal tap. Just something that occurred and you'll never forget.
Here in Belgium, I finished MED SCHOOL in 1980;, and believe me I really lived for 3 people.
BOOZE, R&R, but in particular what I have classified as "A CLOSE ENCOUNTER OF THE THIRD KIND".
In 1980, I finished University, and yes, I was a Medical Doctor. I had an incredible time at the University. Here in BELGIUM, studies to become an MD = 7 years. A long time. Even 6 years later my name was still known in GHENT. GIRLS, BEER, GIRLS, OTHER GIRLS, SAME BEER, BARS, I lived like a vampire, searching fresh blood. Once the conquest was over, or a better expression is, I was a hunter, trying and being excited to shoot the best, once shot, the fun and the THRILL WAS GONE as BB King sings. My best friend he took 75% of what I shot, the lazy bastard. Today it's all CYBER, and isn't the mentality between boy meets girl different? I hear so often, a girl or a boy really enthusiast, I HAVE A DATE. I had DATES, it's all over now, no regrets, I had a great life. Even now, when I enter with my crouches, in a place, women make contact with me, why, the only reason I find is "pity, a kind of mother instinct, an urge to protect me? I don't know. Enough.
I had the luck to be backstage doctor on one of the biggest ROCK festivals in Europe. My best friends at that time were all musicians, CEO's of record companies, actors, 100% different from my job. But as it always is: GIRL ---> ENGAGING --> WEDDING ---> KIDS and all things change.
But about that festival I was DOC from 1981 until 1996, and that is what it's all about: the things I saw, the fun, the friendship. No journalists, every year the same people, a time I'll never forget. The WEIRDEST THINGS I SAW WERE
- I went to the toilet "trailer", suddenly noise, nobody was allowed to enter, bodyguards in front, I had to leave to, but I refused, busy doing "PIPI". Can you imagine all this show because LOU REED had to go to the toilet too. So we were indeed doing pipi together, he farted, very loud, and my response was there a CONTRA-FART, resulting in a laugh, but getting worse, and as always you always look to the person next to you. Well this is something I never forget, because it was all so stupid, bodyguards, 2 extreme silent boys, REED and me, the fart, the fun.
I learned ONE THING THERE: the artists are modest, polite, friendly, but the sharks around the artist = DISGUSTING THEY ARE THE STARS, a bunch of frustrated miserable men.
Another one, WENDY & LISA, (PRINCE protegees), I got an urgent call from the W&L trailer, they just performed, and the one who plays guitar, WENDY I think went hysterical  because she was convinced that the performance was very bad. I just remember me a crying, hysterical WENDY, who pushed me in the seat, she was naked, and she was crying, tears allover, holding me, and no way to escape, trying to kiss me, asking 100 times if I liked her gig, that was one of the most and unforgettable events.
That is what I love to read here, if you have got moments like this (not a naked Wendy in my arms), I can assure you that was a WEIRD EXPERIENCE.

No DOLL, MARCALAN and DADDYCOOL.
Thanks to a lot of you, the comment, telling me or give me suggestions, I start to have the impression that a song I write down, I still have hundreds of songs, from ballads (=75%) to up tempo songs, more bluesy, rock even hardrock and metal, that it is a lot easier now to place the right chords on the right place.
I really UNDERESTIMATED songwriting, everything goes fine, you play and sing NO problem, but when you start to write!!??? is 100% different.
I LEARNED HERE THE IMPORTANCE OF USING THE CORRECT CHORDS AND PLACE THEM CORRECT. There is one thing I noticed here = there is a DIFFERENCE between the lines and chords in your head and writing them correct. LYRICS: words have to be changed, or you need to move them, for me this is a blessing, and I really love your suggestions, or what you should write.
I'M REALLY SORRY, my songs are "dark songs"probably caused by my carcrash. There are many many unsolved problems, I have 1000 questions about the dead, and I have a lot of respect for being alive. So please don't hesitate to correct me or telling me that a certain chord is wrong, or that if I should use another chord that the song is better. THANKS FOR HELPING ME

I noticed that most of the discussions are about GIBSON, EPIPHONE, FENDER.
What about other brands?
Bootlegers choice is Michael Kelly.
I looked on www.musiciansfriend.com and yes there they are.
Michael Kelly Patriot Phoenix Electric Guitar (Lava Red) with a price = $399.99 - $449.99.
CUSTOMERS RATING = 5 STARS.
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/ … sku=512293

THIS TOPIC = A list of guitars, some are well known, others not. I made this topic because in our ever lasting battle, we speak about 2 BRANDS = GIBSON/EPIPHONE
and FENDER/MIA, MIM, SQUIER, and not much information about guitars here in this list.
- WHAT ABOUT:
- GRETSCH? I never read comments or discussions. Is GRETSCH (now Fender).
Where is the GRETSCH produced? In the USA, or in Korea, China, maybe better if I say the same factory where squiers are build?
If you have the vintage book with prices, a WHITE PENGUIN = 100.000$ (for an old model). The PENGUIN is still produced, ARE THE TODAY'S PENGUINS, constructed exactly as their ancesters?
A WHITE FALCON = 3000$ see www.musiciansfriend.com ?!
- ESP
- PARKER
- JACKSON
- HAMER
- SCHECTER
- MICHAEL KELLY
- ARROW
- TOKAI
- PRS
- ORVILLE = their seemed to be 2 different guitars: ORVILLE, and ORVILLE BY GIBSON, the last  one is equipped with PAF's ???? and the prices are between 1100-1400$, and I believe the EPIPHONE production started there. If you have an uncle who has an orville on his attic:$$$$
- HERITAGE = guitars made by former GIBSON guitar builders, who wouldn't or couldn't move, because of different reasons. Most family reasons.
- RICHWOOD (a lot of people on other forums refer to this guitar.
This is only a fistful brands, there are so much more decent, guitars.
Except from PRS (MY HOUSE BRAND) all these other guitars are unknown for me. That's the reason of this topic: to know if some of you can tell mr more.
THANKS A LOT

gnomefry, about what you wrote:
There is an Epiphone jr. only $100. I got it about 3 years ago but changed the Humbucker.I do suggest Gibson. They are way better. I played a few epiphones in my music store, the junior included. The sound was great, and it was the cheapest guitar.
And JAYGORDON you write the truth. Most of us are  GIBSON lovers or FENDER lovers.
I can give you only one CRITIC. = If you see the prices of LOW PRICED Gibsons, like 350$ to 900$, there profit must be huge. I think GIBSON had to do something, loosing customers buying a schecter, a fender..., and NO epiphones.
If you perform live on stage, even at home (I live in the center of my village, on a parking plot, with only 2 houses.) So I am able to turn the volume very high, you would have difficulties to hear the difference, even more using all kind of effects. Put a sticker on the name but show the typical custom headstock, and play in front of 100 people, who judge the GUITAR (NOT THE PLAYER), tone, sound...you would be surprised counting the votes. Same with a FENDER MIM, and a FENDER MIA.
Epiphone is a damned good brand. WITHOUT changing the humbuckers.

ABOUT COMPARING A LES PAUL CUSTOM, EPIPHONE OR GIBSON, go to youtube and compare, this gives you a pretty good idea. In my physical condition, (getting worse, month after month) it is sometimes difficult to go to a store and play + compare. 10 days ago I had the opportunity to play on a PRS DRAGON (90% is not allowed to play on this guitar, too expensive.) and finally I didn't play due to the pain.

daddycool, thanks for telling me this. What is your suggestion?.
For me it is still difficult if not impossible to write brilliant lyrics.
It relieves me a lot that 50-75% of lyrics suck. See MOST GROUPS IN THE 60ties.
I love you yes I do but you broke my heart baby
and you forgot to refresh the baby's diapers baby.
I am convinced that from "linguistic "point, my English has improved a lot. When a word is not correct, I have a red line underneath that word.
The most difficult part is putting the words in a correct sequence. This and other small problems is what i loved to see corrected, or a suggestion that a word is placed wrong.
DADDYCOOL can you please mail me your idea? I am "trying" to write decent lyrics,-only since 10 days and having a book called "THE POP FORMULAS" containing chapters like
- THE RADIO SMASH HIT
- THE POP BALLAD (they start using "PACHELBEL'S CANON), with a lot of theory.

Every day I see the number of members raising.

- THE GREATEST SITE = YES, I don't think there is 1 site like our "chordie".
Yes, you find a lot of sites, better FORUMS about guitars, but no songs, or post songs.
I have so much time, and I love to "spy" on other guitar sites. When I start reading, you see a person asking a question, and another who answers.
BUT THEY DON'T HAVE AT ALL THE STRUCTURE, like all the different topics, like
- acoustic
- electric
- songwriting
- chat corner
I wish to thank the man who made this possible.
- I wish to thank every single "chordian" for his/her contributions, because I believe that there is definitely no website like CHORDIE. The structure, the friendship you get here is PRICELESS.
THANKS CHORDIE

Yep, JimBusch, nice to meet you for the first time. Do you remember how many members there were back then?
If I write down my all time favourite songs, I would have a huge list.
I am not ashamed to say that I adore the BEE GEES. Where is the NAPSTER and AUDIOGALAXY TIME? for free!!!
I have some wonderful CD'S. I have every single song from
- THE BEE GEES 22 CD'S and 10 purchased CD'S. THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE. I made 1 CD with the songs I loved most, NO HITS AT ALL, called BEE GEES second best. I have also all the "TOM FOGERTY'S", you need 2 things = Patience and Time, which I had because it was in the period after my crash, also Paul McCartney who has 2 CD'S with "classic music", a kind of opera. It took me 3 months, and from the very first moment I started my PC, other users, started to download TOM + PAUL, these were the most popular. ALL THIS IS HISTORY. I paid an amount of money, 50$ I think, and since I have LIMEWIRE and WINMX (= the best for me)

My name is PHILIPS, so I can write very easy
- Phil LIPS.

HAHAHA  lol   lol  big_smile  lol  lol  lol
Take ROGER GUPPY , he can do almost the same thing
- ROGER GROUPIE (SORRY ROG, big BRO, no offense)

Phil LIPS and the flaming nurse band.

Other professional related band names.
- THE STETHOSCOPES.

If I use my name, PHILIPS, it would be nice to see Phil LIPS.

Well 06sc500, I wanted to know how old you are. WHY? because, I am born in December 1955, = 52 years old. But my list is timeless and BASED on the melody and NOT on lyrics.
I am a great fan of the BEE GEES.
I adore ballads, also R&R, Blues, Pop, Hard Rock, Grunge, Disco and Metal. So the best solution is dividing my list.
METAL:
- Enter Sandman by METALLICA.
- Peace Sells by MEGADETH
HARDROCK
- Highway Star + Smoke on the water by DEEP PURPLE
- Kashmir by LED ZEPPELIN
ROCK
- Jump + Eruption by VAN HALEN
- Stranglehold by TED NUGENT
- AC/DC , but also the "unforgettable performance" of Ten Years After, GOING HOME.
BALLADS (In fact, I love a lot here, but my list=)
- Desperado + the Last Resort by the EAGLES.
- Don't Forget To Remember by BEE GEES (always played when I broke a relation)
- HOMBURG by PROCOL HARUM
POP (to much)
- NORWEGIAN WOOD by the BEATLES
- SILENCE IS GOLDEN by TREMELOES
- TEARS IN TH MORNING by BEACH BOYS
- IF by PINK FLOYD
DISCO
- STAYING ALIVE by BEE GEES
BLUES
- I STILL GOT THE BLUES by GARY MOORE
- BIRD OF PARADISE by SNOWY WHITE
- CROSSROADS by CLAPTON (but this is closer to ROCK)
GRUNGE
- SMELLS LIKE TEEN SPIRIT by NIRVANA, this song has it all= straight from a "tormented heart"great guitar play
I can add more, but I CAN'T ANSWER THE QUESTION WHICH  SONG I LOVE MOST, perhaps TEARS IN THE MORNING.

http://www.rhymer.com/ This is a real great site I discovered. The name tells it all, you only need to write a word, and click on rhyme, giving you hundreds of words, matching and rhyming.
This of course, if you want a "rhyme song".
This song: useful, useless, I consider this song as a SONG STRAIGHT FROM THE HEART, BUT IT'S IN FACT MAMBO JAMBO. (I love that expression)
ENJOY and like always feel free to give your opinion, it is THANKS TO YOUR OPINIONS, I really learned, in fact I learn every day and my "joy de vivre" is coming back, slowly but it helps. Compare my "english" now, and 6 months ago.

IN GENERAL:
Elixirs are the first major innovation in strings in over forty years, and they deliver what they promise: great tone and long life no matter what you put them on or how often you play. Nanoweb coating permits strings with the feel, bright tone, and punch of traditional strings.
Add the fact that almost every single ELIXIR STRING user tells the same story = they last 3-5 times longer than any traditional string.
Is this the end of all d'addario's, Ernie Ball's, Martin's, Gibson's strings. I don't think so, because those strings are really good, and Clapton, Page, Slash, Vai, ... use these strings (probably endorsements). I saw these strings, and they use also a certain kind of "special treatment", and they are called Slinky strings. I DON'T HAVE A CLUE WHAT THIS MEANS.
Those who have all the money get their strings for free, what a world!!!
About ELIXIR:
Nanowebs are described as a "warm" sound. (this is a recurring comment)
This gives me the conclusion: "Brighter-sounding" electric & acoustic guitar string.
Polywebs are described as a more "muted" sound.
This is what I found so far.
I have 1 set of NANOWEB elixir strings, acoustic and extra light =  0.10 - 0.47 (since Saturday).
I like extra-light strings, but what about 0.12 gauges, still "light", what is the typical string-size used on acoustic guitar? Probably it all depends on your style, but all you dear friends, what is in fact the "IDEAL" size? Probably mine are to thin, and my style is more strumming, maybe an in between style, I don't strum like a PETE TOWNSHEND , I have a more gentile approach, so my opinion should be a 0.12?
What's yours, about the difference in elixir, compared to Ernie Ball who uses that SLINKY thing.
- 75% NANOWEB
- 25% POLYWEB
This was a vote about which Elixir string people use.
Polyweb strings are older, and after looking for a long time, I read that a lot of players write: POLYWEB = you FEEL the coating and NANOWEB = not

- Is it coincidence or not, I believe that the "aids" problem started here.
- Is it coincidence that what started in the early 70-ties "GLAMROCK" or "GLITTER ROCK" were a typical early 70-ties problem. A MUSICAL PHENOMENON.
End 60ties and early 70ties, people who adored the fantastic solos, up to 20 minutes, started to go back to the R&R basics.
To distinguish them selves, and to get more than enough attention, artists started to dress like a woman, using tons of make-up, DAVID BOWIE, MARC BOLAN, GARY (pedo)GLITTER, even the ROLLING STONES.
Search and find how they looked back then.
THE KINKS with their mega-hit LOLA: boys would be girls and girls would be boys. That was the philosophy.
A strange fact, all these glam & glitter stopped around 1975, did the SEX PISTOLS, and other PUNK bands cause this? I think YES.
On the other hand the "real DISCO phenomenon started to dominate every hitparade.

About the 80ties: there were some huge hits, we can discuss again about Soft Cell's TAINTED LOVE, but what do you remember about soft cell except "tainted love."But in the 80ties started a new phenomenon: SYNTH-POP, NEW WAVE (I still don't know what this means.)
What happened to the early 80ties toppers, like ADAM ANT, ABC, BRONSKI BEAT, GARLAND JEFFREY'S, a lot of people would ask WHO? well the man with a huge hit: take me to the matador
- CULTURE CLUB: they were big but only for 2-3 years, and what phenomenon did reoccur? The KINKS phrase: boys would be girls and girls would be boys. A new impulse to dress, using make-up.
- HUMAN LEAGUE: how many hits
- HAROLD FALTERMEYER with the song for BEVERLY HILLS COP Axel F

Please give your opinions.

Yes dear Andros67, you have a point here = FUNNY HOW MANY PEOPLE REMEMBER that song.
NOT ONLY THIS ONE.
- Those 1 hit wonders "pop-up" around the summer holiday period.
- The "1 hit" they wrote has it all, a catchy tune, I don't talk about lyrics, but you can ask 1000 people or playing a few 1 hit wonders ' songs in front of an audience and 90% is able to sing that song. THAT IS STRANGE.
My guess is, like I told, most are "great" and "catchy tunes" (GREAT doesn't mean I LIKE THE SONG) but a hit 30 or 40 years old, and you recognise it = amazing. And of course, a lot of them were playing since years.
- YUMMI YUMMI YUMMI I GOT LOVE IN MY TUMMY, by the ARCHIES?
What is the definition of a 1 hit wonder: having one big hit?, I think it's more diversified. They had other hits too, but were they sold 5.000.000 copies, they drop to 1.000.000, and yes, they do have a place in music land.
I think that this phenomenon is more an 80ties phenomenon. (I create a topic on this).
Music and styles came and went. CULTURE CLUB (what a name) had some great hits, and THERE STARTED "BOY GEORGE'S" problem. Dressed as a woman, and having some great numbers. Unfortunately they weren't able to continue succes.
IT MUST BE REALLY HORRIBLE to be a GOD one day, and they higher you get, the deeper you fall.
If you want to see and hear more, I just found a great website, with 1 hit wonders from the 50ties to the year 2000
I found a great link

We had already a lot of topics, which is the best brand, but here just ONE question, and it light be interesting for every guitar player.

ELIXIR STRINGS:
- NANOWEB strings
- POLYWEB strings
What is the difference?
Is it true that a lot of guitar players choose NANOWEB? I read that the sound is better, brighter.
It's not so easy, because you get a lot of different answers, and I believe that 75% guitar players prefer nanoweb.
Who has ELIXIR STRINGS on his guitar and are you satisfied?
THANKS GUYS

THERE ARE EVEN FAMOUS SONGS like "LOVING YOU"by MINNIE RIPERTON. When she starts singing high, whohawhoewhoe, it reminds me a teacher, using his charcoal to write, ON PURPOSE, with such a sound that I loose all my hair ON THE SPOT.
I am 52 years, and I still have the same hair color, my daugher counted 7 grey hairs, isn't that amazing. If you want to see me go to myspace.

YOU TOO?
I did.
I am getting so nervous, and I'm completely lost. YES, my BOSS BR 600.
If it wasn't for the fact that I have to pay so much money (I need to take over my car), it was RENTING, but that will be the last time. Even having the benefit to get my VAT (21%) back, being disabled, I really regret the fact that I didn't buy a BOSS 900 CD, or a BOSS 1200 CD.
As the name tells CD. I agree that you need a connection with USB to put your "song" on PC and from there trying to add and make it better, you can use the BOSS CD, to burn already what you recorded.
AGREE, you will have a basic song with now and then a wrong string, or rhythm problems, you have at least an idea (using a CD-RW) but here, I spend days to transfer the recorded stuff on my CF card, I use it or with USB or I put my CF card into my PC.
I downloaded a BOSS software, but esults? ZIP, NADA.
Sorry

How many times do we read, the best songs, bands, instruments? Well here you can spit out the worst song(s), songs you hate so much that your hair starts to rise, that when together with a girl your erection disappears, as well as your appetite.
MY CHOICE:
- BARBIE GIRL by AQUA
- WHO LET THE DOGS OUT by Bahamen
- MACARENA, who can't remember the silly dance moves, by Los Del Rios
- YOUNG HAIRED LOVER FROM LIVERPOOL by Little Jimmy Osmond
- HOORAY, HOORAY, IT'S A HOLI-HOLIDAY by Boney M

Did you know that Boney M  sold more than 150.000.000, yes you read it correct, albums?
What's your list

We didn't have this one. THOSE WHO WERE REAL FAMOUS, WITH ONLY ONE SONG.
- ARE THESE PEOPLE 1 HIT wonders?
- Didn't they write other stuff?

- SPIRITS IN THE SKY            Norman Greenbaum (I believe he is a TWO HIT wonder, having also success in 1968, under the name Dr. West's Medicine Show and Junk Band, he recorded the novelty hit "The Eggplant that Ate Chicago".
- KUNGFU FIGHTING                  Carl Douglas
- TAKE ON ME                           A-ha
- I'M TOO SEXY (for my shirt)     Right Said Fred
- COME ON EILEEN                     Dexy’s Midnight Runners
- TAINTED LOVE                        Soft Cell
- MACARENA                             Los del Rios

Probably also, the ZAGER & EVANS hit = IN THE YEAR 2525

I ordered and received a CD by NORMAN GREENBAUM. If you listen to the tracks, 75% is folk, some mixed with BLUES, BLUEGRASS, the ONLY song, if you never heard of "spirits in the sky" will be THE song, you will love at the spot.
What happened with these 1 hit wonders? They came out from NOWHERE? I think they were active in music business since some years, even the fact that some of these guys came out from nowhere. Others, trying years and than...
Take JIMI HENDRIX, he was more than gifted, but the first years he suffered a lot. Until the day a guy named Chas Chandler came to see him. The rest is history, and sooner or later he would be discovered anyway.
LET'S DISCUSS!!

What kind of GIBSON SG do you have?
- SG Standard
- SG Menace (this is the one I have, a KILLER-GUITAR)
- SG '61 reissue?

I love the SG sound, a very light guitar compared to a LES PÄUL.
But still, I have a PRS SE TREMONTI, this guitar sounds better than a lot of others, I collect and play.
I am a PRS fanatic, my first PRS a CUSTOM 24 1993, was VERY, VERY expensive, I had the luck that there was only 1, and six months old. My best BUY ever. Here in Belgium, almost nobody knew that brand, only a few, and more the professionals. Since that moment, I'm a PRS addict.

This device must be more than popular.  You put it around a tuner, like on the E string tuner or tuner for G string. You can also choose for an other tuning, like open D.
The point is, most of us have OR a single and simple tuner, analog or digital,
When I tune my guitar, I use a device, and more important my EARS. Imagine, playing in a band, a string completely out of tune, itis indeed MADNESS to use your device and to see how it turns your tuner automatic to the desired chord.
Big groups, they have at least 20 guitars on the backstage area on stage, hidden behind a curtain.
For those "professional guitar tuners" it is a blessing.
I was in a large music store, they had 100 of these devices, with a battery9V.
All these tuners were completely sold out within 24 hours.
I think and am convinced that this isn't a toy, or a useless tuner, because if you play since years as told: IF YOU USE A DIGITAL TUNER (like Korg, Boss) IT REMAINS IMPORTANT TO USE YOUR EARS, everytime I tune my guitar, with help, there is always a string who sounds to low, to high, and worse, playing E, or A, you don't hear it, but playing G, you hear it.
THIS SOLD OUT PHENOMENON proves that there is a big market. What's your opinion, and WHO HAS A AUTOMATIC ROBOTIC TUNER?

Do you feel, in daily life the fact that the EURO is so incredible strong?
I read that "BIG ARTISTS" changed contract by asking EURO'S in stead of DOLLARS.

I am convinced that for stores, or eBay, clothes, and especially guitars.
Take the brandnew GIBSON "SLASH".
The OFFICIAL RETAIL PRICE = $5880 = 3,710.72 EUR
- In online MUSIC STORES = $4,399.00 = 2,776.73 EUR
- In (probably) the cheapest music store in Koln = 4066,21 € = 6450$
SO for me the difference is really amazing.
I just wanted to know, and probably other EUROPEANS TOO, what consequences has this phenomenon for USA citizens?
I think, because the USA has always been the "American Dream Land", you have probably more than enough resources, like gold, weapons, uranium, great scientists (and my favorite country too)
you can survive on your own. I was and still am intrigued by your country, you got it all. In the morning on a mountain top, ice cold, driving back to the south, and driving trough dead valley, not possible to drive "convertible". I 'll never forget that day, evening, I stopped at a point: a gas station, a motel, a restaurant and 50°C = 122°F. Arriving there, you should drink, but the fact is that you hate to drink, because your body is messed up.
In fact about the IMPACT "EURO" versus "DOLLAR" export will be cheaper (BUT, some of the new guitar arrivals are a lot more expensive), import? will be expensive.
What, how, can you deal with this problem?

Good morning, at least here already in Europe.
I like to know how old you are. Not because of statistics, but more to know your budget.
Probably you still go to school??!! I think guitar school. It's important, because we speak here about money to buy another or to change parts, like pick-ups, tuners.

I don't think, no I'm sure we all had topics about the best solo, best  solo guitaristetc..
But who is the FASTEST player. I saw some DVD'S and heard some CD'S, and my opinion =
1) Michael Angelo
2) Yngwie Malmsteen
3) Petrucci
This is all about speed, and it is sometimes, especially on music store rebates that you are overwhelmed and like to escape from that store, all those YOUNGSTERS, competing, "oh that dude plays fast, but I can play faster" mentality.

In fact about MALMSTEEN, what I like is that he is able to play great "classic" music, Beethoven, Mozart.
WHERE ARE THE REAL SOLO-GUITAR PLAYERS. They don't make them I think, like PAGE, HENDRIX, VAN HALEN, these where inventive, creative solos IN FUNCTION OF THE BAND.
