Well ...I dragged out my old electric guitar, dusted it off as it hasn`t been used in years and had ago on it today. What can I say, it was dusty, it needs new strings, after a few attempts I recorded a song as my fingers were so sore!!! Oh and yeah ... I am learning guitar all over again ........ ok, enough of the excuses , you all know I am not a great guitarist anyway. It was fun though playing it again
EG : When I don't want a break between 2 songs I put a song ending with the G chord with a song starting with the G chord.

Well as far as computers go Strummerboy and when they play up 
Gee I finally had a little look at some of these songs last night for me to do and *cough* they aren`t that easy are they lol. Then again my guitar and ukulele playing isn`t anywhere the standard of you lot!!! Talk about pressure!!! lol. So I have come to the conclusion, you all know I am a very basic guitarist / ukulele player, so to heck with it, I will give a couple a shot even if I cant do the fancy picking, fancy strums etc.
Hope to attempt a few over the next couple of days *fingers crossed*

ctech .....I appreciate the work put into this, though I am not a real fan of this type of music. My son makes this kind of music and I know and appreciate the work and time that goes into making it. So good on you, I know lots of people do like this type of music, especially the younger generation (or is that just me being old? lol )
Well I sat down today and listened to all the contributions so far.
unclejoesband ............. though I have seen that before but it was great to watch and listen to again. So good how you two have teamed up and are playing together regularly. Your friend is pretty good on the guitar with all the finger work he`s got going on that`s for sure. How about doing a new cover for us from one up the top Joe?
Zurf .................... well you deserve a medal for all those songs, very impressive. I listened to each one and I have to say on everyone one, your guitar playing seems to have really excelled. You have always been good on guitar but I just could really hear in my opinion, a whole new level in your playing style. Wish I could play like that. Well done on all the songs you performed. Have to confess to not knowing a couple of the songs though, which is good, its great to hear new songs. Will try to leave comments on sound cloud when I next log on there.
neophytte ..... another song I don`t know but I like the sound of it. You sung it very gently and nice gentle guitar work went well with it. I will have to look up the original.

Wow Peatle, an amazing lady and it brought tears to my eyes reading about her upbringing and childhood. So sad a beginning and yet out of all that, came an amazing woman! Very special lady.
With regards to my mum ........ she is dearly loved and was a wonderful mum who was my best encourager in life and was always there for me in every way. She loved us kids all to bits and I love her to bits as well. Though she still lives at the age of 84 years old, she has very bad dementia, can hardly hold a conversation and is very sad a lot of the time. I live 7 and 1/2 hours away from where she is in a home, up near my father. I see her when i can get up but being that far away, I cant just pop up regularly to go see her sadly. So though she is still with us, she isn`t in away and it makes me sad. I miss her very much and our long chats, I miss her laughter and smile.
