I love the mystery and intrigue here Brian
leaves the reader for a tonof ways to go with it as I can imagine a few different scenarios.
Well done.

Hope you are well and soon to be no longer a "fugitive from society" due to covid - 19.

Best wishes

I loved the poem - quite an accurate glimpse of life today.
I can tell you, as a teacher - "online teaching"  isn't teaching - it is just delivering information.
I need to be with the kids - the social interaction is an immense part of the learning process.

as Phill had ina song we did together - " take me back to the good ol' days"  !

Nicely done Peatle !

A talented musician- loved the harp

It was a bit too much howling and yelling for me - I prefer my blues a bit mellower.

I wish I could play and sing like him - he is a showman for sure.  Kinda reminds me of Van Morrison,

Just WOW !!! HOLY GUITAR PLAYING !!!

What an amazing young gentleman.
5 colors in her hair with McFly at the Palladium was by far my favorite - but he is a prodigy for sure.

It makes me me want to just put my guitars in the closet - he was that good.

Thanks for sharing.
A fantastic way to end the week.
Hope you are healthy and well and I hope our cuntry starts to ease back to a sense of normalcy.

Boys,

This is another great one from the AB's    Greg Alman wrote it before they were a band.
I remember listening to this on soccer road trips in my college days.
Great stuff

Did anyone see that new work by Bob Dylan on Kennedy Assassination ?

It's long but - Dang  - it's really good.

Beamer - I was thinking the exact thing as Keepitreal - very dreamlike.  Reminds of something Moody Blues might have come up with.

I'd be glad to mess a round and attempt some lyrics if you would like- if not - I will wait for your finished product and go off to dreamland. smile

Nice job

Some how I missed this friday.

He is really great.  Absolutely owns the guitar and makes it sing.
Out of your list - Memphis was the one I liked best.

Thanks for the pleasure !

Jim

So this morning I was playing the Bob Willis song Stay All Night,Stay A Little Longer - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lB3ITE55Sw       and I started putting my own words in.
This what I came up with. (I would love it if Mojo used his Texas drawl to cover it - I think it would come out great ! (hint, hint, nudge, nudge  smile  ) or for that matter - anyone else !!!  - I suck at playing or singing as you all know so any help would be appreciated .

Stay Home (just a little bit longer) By Jim Kenyon

[G]Covid 19 ‘s got me quarantined

I’m [D]‘bout half crazy, if you [G]know what I mean

[G] Stuck inside with no place to go

[D] How long’s it lasts, I [G] do not know

.

Chorus

[G]Stay inside, stay a little longer

[D]What doesn’t kill us [G]makes us stronger

[G]Keep your shoes and coats in the corner

[D] Please stay at home, just a [G]little bit longer

.

[G]Oh stay at home, save some lives

[D] Keep on waiting for [G]masks to arrive

[G]Keep your distance in every room

Use [D]go to meeting or [G] join on Zoom

.

[G]Watch TV or read a good book

[D]Think of something [G]new to cook

[G]Wash your hands and scrub them good

[D]Kill those germs from the [G]neighborhood

.

Chorus

[G]Stay inside, stay a little longer

[D]What doesn’t kill us [G]makes us stronger

[G]Keep your shoes and coats in the corner

[D] Please stay at home, just a [G]little bit longer

.

[G]Stay inside, we’ll all be safer

[D]But please check in [G]on your neighbor

[G]Everyone needs a little kindness

[D]We’ll all be glad when [G]it's behind us

.

Chorus

[G]Stay inside, stay a little longer

[D]What doesn’t kill us [G]makes us stronger

[G]Keep your shoes and coats in the corner

[D] Please stay at home, just a [G]little bit longer

.

[G]It’s been a burden no heart should bear

[D]Thanks to parents for [G]all their care

[G]Thank every Doctor, and every Nurse

[D]Without their bravery, it’d [G] be much worse

.

[G]Though his world seems out of order

[D]knowthere’s hope 'round [G]every corner

[G]Keep your spirit, keep your smile

[D]we’ll be together [G]in a little while

.

Chorus

[G]Stay inside, stay a little longer

[D]What doesn’t kill us [G]makes us stronger

[G]Keep your shoes and coats in the corner

[D] Please stay at home, just a [G]little bit longer

Nope
I use same method - I just pick a song that is close to my title.
