WOOHOO! 40 years old!

At the risk of being shot down, I do not allow any U2 music to be played in my house or car.
If anything of theirs comes on the tv I change channel, likewise the radio, it gets turned down.
The 'boybands' come a close second and I would happily do 25 years to take a pot shot at that long faced ugly bint that sings the Titanic song.
Boy did I get up in a good mood this morning!!!
Always look on the bright side...........Monty Python.........easy to play too.
A very Happy New Year to you Pere, and all the other members out there.
Wishing everyone the best for 2008 and hoping it is a great year for music.
False, the Doves In Flight did not land this year.
The person below me wishes he was in South Australia instead of the stinking cold UK.
P.S. Merry Xmas where ever you are.
Another Merry Christmas to all Chordies from Derbyshire England......stay warm.
False.............I'm wearing gloves as I have just murdered the people next door for complaining about my guitar playing.
The person below me is a policeman looking for a mass murderer guitar playing nutter
Murphy took the contols of a plane after the pilot had a heart attack..................
Tower to Murphy..... Give me you height and position
Murphy........I'm 5' 6'' and sat in the front .......but I'm upside down
Tower..........How do you know you are upside down
Murphy.........The shits coming out of my collar.
True..........went to Uncle Osama's cave for dinner Sunday.
The person below picks his nose as well as his guitar.
It is an art in itself to learn all the Neil Young tunings. Once learnt his music is a joy to play.....and easy
False, aint even started and nobody is getting a damn thing this year!!!!
The person below thinks I'm a grumpy ol' bast..d
False.
The person below me is schizophrenic but says they are both ok.
Eagles...Doolin-Dalton.....very slow and very easy, play the chords and pick a few strings out and you will sound like a pro.
Q is for Qiutaiplas.....you gotta believe it.
I got told that when i was about 18, so i took up the advice, then stopped smoking and drank more whisky.
ken
Wise choice.
Yardbirds......on a reel to reel tape.....out of my paper round money......I remember it well and freezing my nuts off every morning taking those damn papers out.
Try a google .....John Hiseman.....pretty good drummer, good history, one or two very famous names in the band at one time or another.
Saw them just once around 70/71 and remember they were ok but nothing to write home about.
Pretty average, has promise, maybe in a few years, has a lot to learn, her throat needs some tobaco and whisky.
Gibson Doves In Flight.
I really helped a lot of people, and some of them are sober since years.
I have helped a lot of people too, most of them have been drunk for years.
Show me a man who has never got drunk and fallen down and I'll show you a man who has never lived.
If God hadn't meant us to drink he wouldn't have invented glass.
Totally with you. Only problem is my banjo has hung on the wall without being touched now for over a year. Damned hard thing to learn to play. Spent a year learning, picking up the chords, getting the fingers to behave and finally get some speed up and then all of a sudden lost all interest.
I'll maybe get back to it one day.
My husband of 24 years wooed me with ZZ Top's "Fool for Your Stockings, but that was WAYYY back in the day!
My wife of too many years wooed me with her body.
Her dad threatened me with a shotgun.
We are about to renew our 'only married you cos I had too' vows.
By the way can I change my name from Charlotte to Butch.
Take a tip from an old married man.................HAVE A LOOK AT HER MOTHER.................
Now, do you still want to sing her a song?
I got one hell of a virus from Chordie. It caused me to go out and buy 3 guitars, 1 banjo, an amp, countless sets of strings, books, sheet music, and a whole load of other stuff.
Every time I log on 4 songbooks appear and I have to pick up a guitar and play for a while to get the damn things off my screen.
Pere, you have alot to answer for.
Thanks.
My outlook is.........
I know I'm crazy, it's the people who don't know they are that have got the problem.
