CG- he is really good - I like that style of playing.
Fave of the bunch was nobody home, but all were excellent.
the one comment on the kiling the blues song said " Chris introduced the song once by telling the story of performing it live and having someone come up to him afterwards and say something along the lines of, "I don't think I have ever heard that song performed more to my liking." Chris responded - saying that he didn't write it and that it was written by Roly Salley, to which the commenter responded, "I know, that's me."
Thanks for sharing it.

No worries - I would assume musically there would be changes b/c I'm pretty limited in my guitar playing - not really a musician like all of you good fellows and ladies on here.
speakng of that - hmmmmm we have not heard from our good friend Jan from NZ of late .
Thanks Graham - I look forward to hearing how you play it.
Jim
Phill Thanks - it was based on a true story of my friend - not me.
CG and Grah Thank you for the very kind words.
It's one of those songs in my head that sounds beautiful - but when I play it and sing - loses a lot !
Hopefully someone on here will give it a go. ![]()
Thanks again my friends.
Jim
Thanks TF
I was just thinking about how hard it is for someone to give their heart completely a second time when I wrote it..
Now if only I could actually sing and play what I write ![]()
Thank you again for your kind words.
Jim
I wrote this song today, hope it makes sense and the chords are ok
I think it's a country / blues song -but I don't really know ! ![]()
CG
I quite agree with TF !
West is good - looked like a great venue. The dancers added to it.
I need that invisibility shirt ! ![]()

See - if I keep paying attention to ll the great musicians here on chordie ( like yourself) I'm going to actually know something about music ! Thanks my friend!
Jim
Guitar slapping - I have no clue how to do so but it adds to his performance. Quite a unique way to play guitar.
It seems strange to me ( but I don't much about playing guitar) to see both hands playing on the neck as well.
Thanks for sharing TF
Very smooth !
These guys are really polished musicians and it appears that they are enjoying what they play.
I quite agree - it has a jazzy tone to it.
Thanks for sharing TF.
THAT IS ONE OF THE BEST SONGS EVER WRITTEN HERE ON CHORDIE IN MY HUMBLE OPINION RUSSELL !
Short, to the point, clear message, perfect rhyme scheme.
Put that together with a musician who is talented and right in his wheel house bc he is playing what he loves - and you've got a fantastic song production !
Superbly done Russell - if this was put out by a famous band it would go high on the charts !
Thanks for sharing it.
Jim
Russell
That is fantastic !
Can you post the lyrics ?
You have such a flair for playing and a great voice to go with it.
Thanks for sharing.
Jim
He is excellent. Thanks for sharing
at first I thought Eagles Greatest Hits album or the One of These Nights Album, but after closer examination - NOT !
I believe the word prodigy should appear somewhere in the assessment of this young man !
It appears to me that he is in love with the instrument and plays it as such.
There probably aren't too many humans that can play like that.
What a wonderful performance !
If I could play anywhere near that level, I'd quit my job. ![]()
Thanks for sharing.
Jim
pretty cool song Graham
I like the chords - I'm not sure I play it the same as you - but I like it
Well done -even 50 years belated ! ![]()
Jim
Well written Scott !
I can follow the path of the poem perfectly from all the episodes you have described.
I think it would be great if you stepped out of your metal genre for a song and played this ---- wait for it----
I think as a jazzy slow song. In my head the lyric speaks so much that I think a jazzy sound would do it great justice.
I don't know if that makes sense to you. But any way - excellent poem.
Jim
Beamer - that riff sounds ominous - like something is lurking or something dangerous is about to happen. Very good sound.
Jim
Nice playing Richard
You look so relaxed and comfortable playing that song. It sounds terrific!
Well done sir !
Jim
CG
She is wonderful !
I really, really, really loved the last one - "Something inside of me" it was perfect blues in my opinion.
(and I as I type that sentence - I just got a rush that those words would be the a great title for a blues song _ " {I got the} Perfect Blues"
!
What a double edged sword that would be!
Thanks for sharing
JIM
TF
That is amazing. He is a one man band- and only using an acoustic!
A true master of music.
I would love to have the tools and machines in that shop as well !
Really good post- lots to watch and listen to.
Thanks for sharing.
Jim
Thank you
I have played it like that -and I like it- but then with my crtappy recording system you can't hear me singing the lyrics. ( which actually might be a good thing now that I think about it! ![]()
Thanks for giving it a listen
Jim
Richard
I too never had heard that song - you played it very well. I had the exact same thoughts TF did about the headset Mics!
You are a master of many different styles of music for sure.
Well done, sir!
