ok more bad limericks kind of a Shakespeare meets DR. Seuss meets ....well me
my apologies in advance

to pee or not not pee
underneath yon oak tree
this the question that i ask of thee
i am in a quandary as you can see

should i pee from my front stoop
most certainly i should not poop
among the bushes should i pee
i think not for thorns there be
should i pee along the fence
to mark my land and leave my scent
should i simply pee on the ground
or in the grass to make no sound
where to pee i must make a stance
for if i wait to long i will pee pants

Mojo that is brilliant made me laugh  your real good.
To bee or not to be a honey bee circling my tea under the shade of an old oak tree.
With Shakespeare in hand.
I heard the owner of the proper tea.
Yelling at me.
That is no place to have a pea.
Leave my  old oak tree.
Get of my property.
With the words of Shakespeare ring in my ears.
To bee or not to be.
Or was it.
To pea or not to pee.
I heard  Paul Mack Cart A Knee voice,
singing let it bee
or was it  let it pee.

to rhyme with tea
i must disagree
it very easy as you can see
now i, am no poet wanna be
of this i am sure we all agree
so got to the garden and have your tea
beneath shade of any old tree
but keep an eye  for honey bees
they may fly into your tea

sorry couldnt help myself

"Uh, OK. Sure. That'd be great. What you'll get is Johnny Cash's Blue Train without the Carl Perkins solo."

why is it  when my friends ask me to learn a new song for our annual get together it never fails to requires the vocal range of Roy Orbison and the chords are a bowl of alphabet soup?
i am three chords and a cloud of dust with a mono tone  vocal range , they best really be hammered when they ask me to play it . just saying

can we change Wichita lineman for Texas lineman?
if it snows that stretch down south wont ever stand the strain. just a line from one of my all time fav songs

guess you could  but it was a crew from Alabama  who repaired our line today after 5 days in the dark

here in South Wales we don't see much snow but over the last week or so we've had minus temps. I remember it being cold when i was a kid, rivers 200 feet wide freezing up, black ice etc, but i don't remember it being as cold as it is now...so what happened to global warming?

i recall in the 70,s it wasnt global warming there was a new ice age coming

goes to show dont believe everything they tell you

great collaboration guys ,
my thoughts on the rhyming purely uneducated also , its nice if it rhymes but not essential as long as it flows. I cheat when I write I use a program that finds words that rhyme.

Harlan county is a great song, tells a great story i also have some family connection to Harlan county .I think the ones who have influenced me the most as of late would to be guys like James McMurtry, Robert Earle Keen, and not not who does their writing but the Turnpike Troubadours

I always thought with my little knowledge that Texas was a hot climate with lots of desert areas. Then the other night on TV here they showed a big motorway crash in Texas with trucks and cars sliding in the ice.  We are having a cold wintery summer here not sure what's    happened to the climate.

that accident was caused by black ice on the elevated high ways road ices up on the over passes and you cant see it.
wish i knew how to post a picture its a winter wonder land around here right now

Early in the month we got 6" of snow. My snow blower decided to quit working so I had to spend two hours with a shovel. Three days later we got 4" so it was back outside  again for snow shovel duty. Then four days after that we got 3" which required more shoveling.  Woke up this morning and had to clear another 3" of the white stuff.  About an hour ago it started coming down again and another 3"-5" is predicted by morning.  ARRRGGGHHHH!!!!!

yeah but you live damn near in Canada thats normal i am talking Texas, its going to be 0 freaking degrees in TEXAS tonight ill repeat that 0 freaking degrees .5 inches of snow last night thats 10 inches in the month of February that 8 inches more than we have had in like 30 years total. cant shovel snow here dont have a snow shovel  i really dont know you function in this crap .
