There are only 3 chords to this masterpiece the 1st is a minor the 2nd is the 7th chord and the 3rd is the 5th or the phrase it another way Em D B the break go's Em D then back to the Em D B but you can skip the D if you wish and just play Em to B most of the song until the break which is Em D and back to the beginning this is my good deed for the year

American Musical Supply is another source they have a payment plan I have purchased several items from them the top quality guitars are naturally Gibson and Fender a new Gibson Les Paul standard can run up to $5000.00 there lesser models sell for a around $2000,00 Fender American Standard Stratocasters prices vary a lot depending on the extra gear but are in the $1700 down to $800,00 these brands do not depreciate quite the opposite the older they are the more there worth like stratavarious violins don't expect to find a bargain smile

scroll down you will see it once your in the forums once you located the songwriting forum click on it and there is a "New Topic" button on the top right of your screen click on it and in the top bar write the name of the song they add any information in the large area below smile

What I like about a capo it allows me to transpose to another key and use a different chord form it gives the song a nice quality smile

A rolling stone gathers no moss I did record 3 tracks today they were just guitar tracks intended to be processed in Reaper the song is instrumental so far I will add a bass and drums and see what magic I can conjure up with the FX Miroslav Program I feel like a mad scientist lol

Phill I have to get busy and do some recording I downloaded Reaper and I have been with Jerome's help trying to navigate all the various FX effects and screens so I can process all the data from my Tascam into songs that I can add effects that are not available on the Tascam as you pointed out the strings and piano tracks seemed compressed and you were correct that is because I was unable to add the effects direct to a DAW I had to use a adapter from my pc to the Tascam Reaper lets me take a normal guitar track and change it into any instrument from my Miroslav Philharmonik program and not lose any quality or be compressed,it sounds fantastic but only because it is I have another song I am arranging and plan on recording tracks very soon possibly tomorrow keep ya informed smile

Chordie is a search engine not a host it locates songs hosted on other websites and lists them.

I think a lot of people write some great folk songs in America folk music is the music of the people in any area of the globe I think the word folk derives from the German "Volk" as in Volkswagen meaning "car for the people" smile

Thank you ark I originally got the inspiration from a photo of a lady and became quite enamored with it this was around the time my new keyboard arrived and I started messing around with it and the chord and melody sequence followed I asked Phill Williams for his assessment and he provided some valuable feedback and I asked him if he could record a keyboard track so files were flying across the world and I mixed them and this was the result I agree it has that film score feel maybe I will get lucky smile

Hi Russ I really enjoyed that it had a sort of epic love song sound that makes me think of a film score.
Loved the melody and the arrangement. The time spent was worth it.
Well done to the both of you.

I just bought a new Sigma Dr28. I was sceptical at first about finding a guitar in the £300 price range that would satisfy me. I must say it has surpassed my expectations. The sound is amazing for having laminated back and sides. I've experienced this before with an Alverez Yari I bought in the 80s in America. However I paid over $1500 for it. If you want a well built good sounding guitar, I truly recomend Sigma. Be leave me I checked out a lot of guitars in and above this price range. This was the best sounding one of the bunch!
