I am afraid I have to take issue with that statement.  If its an attempt at at humor its a FAIL.  My god, lets see you do it with an amputated / or born with out hand weather left or right.

Ill stop here.  I have not seen too many of your 26 post and not sure I want to now.

Beamer.

Dino, check out the link I put up in my local band.  I just found out that he is doing Vox along with the guitar and arranged the song. well heck here it is anyway https://soundcloud.com/monochromatic-soundcloud/speak

Him and his friends are FANBOYS  (Iuse that lightly lolol) of the band MUSE.  I dont get into that band, it puts me to sleep, but to each their own right?  Its a good song but I think in the style of his heros.  ( I thinkwe all still do that.)

Phill, Its back up. it just took longer than expected.  the best investment for you should be an external hard drive.  Put all your stuff on it.  if the computer goes down you dont loose your info.  they have gotten very affordable.2Terrbites for 120 or I just bought my kid a 1 Terrbite for coll for 70 bucks.that one is small enough I velcrowed it to her laptop. this would be ideal for your gig puter. its usb.  mount it to the lid near your usb port and your good to go.  I bought thisone but in black for my daughter http://www.walmart.com/ip/Toshiba-Canvi … /24032187.

My laptop (Vista) is also my desktop.  Its  a 7 yr old Dell and they still dont make a laptop as good as it has been. it was built like a tank and has 6 usb ports.  That is hard to find nowdays.  I wish I could update the processor and internal HD, but with that external,, man its kicking. (when helathy)

Welcome to the best guitar site there is!  The closest I can come to eiter of thoes guitars are my ovations (well one is a Kamen, but that was Ovations parent company).  I wouldnt worry about cost. if it plays good and you like it then its good.

Last week my laptop was so full of crap that I had to just give up and wipe it back to factory shell.  It has taken me longer than normal to get everything back to usable programming.
Of course the auto updater won’t load the service packs so I had to manually force the loads for both of them.  Until this got done nothing I would want to load would work.    The downside of this is that I lost a great program for burning dvd’s and now the free time is used up on its trial.  I have found many different converters but none like this (means another 50 bucks for slysoft or Nero) Also  and somewhat more importantly, my web cam lost its drivers! The cd that came with it has never worked and now V7 does not have any on its website!! So it went in the trash.  But I suppose now ill just get one that has auto focus so I won’t look so fuzzy on Skype LOLOLOL.  That being said, I sure have missed having our get togethers,, I know I missed being virtually at Amy’s with Zurf, I just hope the time can be make at home soon.

That being said I have to say YEA! For my 12 yr old son Cade.
He likes all kinds of music from dubstep to Cash and learns it from Youtube like its nothing! Yesterday morning I got his effects rack and amp set up in his new to him bedroom  (sister went to Coll and he is in the room the next day!).  I later was up there and he showed me he learned the intro for Come as you are.  I said Hey this is what your RP is for!  I put him on a jucy phased preset and it must have been made for that song.  So before I would let him have his X-Box back, I told him to learn the verses and other parts.  30 min later he says "DAD I GOT IT CAN I HAVE MY X-BOX BACK?" So He played it for me LOLOLOL {shaking my head}  It was a little rough but he had it and I kept my end of the deal.  OH, and it looks like Grandma is getting him that Dean Acoustic, He is going to have nicer guitars than me! The plus side is the Dean V gets to stay in the house big_smile

well if you get it to load properly you can try this program.  look up from filehippo or your favorite other site   Run As Date.  Its a clock stopper.  sometimes it works and sometimes it does not.

You must have a really dry house!  I have made this statement b4, but seems it bears repeating. Get a large  mixing bowl (I use a plastic one), if you have a intake for you AC on floor level put it there.  If you dont have AC, just put it in a corner where no one will kick it and fill it with water.  If air is that dry it will take it from the easiest place it can get it.  better a bowl of water than my guitar wood.  OR, you can buy a humidifer or mister.  http://www.bing.com/shopping/1-gal-cool … ;FORM=HURE  dont know about the UK but I am sure you can find something like this over there.  I have seen a few like this in some guitar shops that were having a problem with bridges pulling away from bodies.

Completely disagree. Need to run tubes hard to make them sound good.

That is when an attenuator is nice on a rig. drives the tubes but you can tone the volume down and get the break up,,, YET I don't mind a nice big head full of tubes getting natural dist either! big_smile

I like this particular sunburst  Less because of my first guitar hero.  I still can not afford even an Epiphone signature of Ace Frehley's guitar,,, But with this and its great price,, I can make one!

I copied your req to a musician buddy of mine in Asheville NC, He has been a professional musician sine the 80's and has probably played just about any club in the area.  If your around there at all look for a band called  THE SHARKADELLICS.  Guitarist name is Alton Eddins and they are the premier cover band for the region. Al has played with some pretty famous people and his bassist, Micky Hayes, was the touring bassist for Delbert McClinton for many years.

I have only ever seen a  Bigsby on one for vintage style.  there have been some Floyd Rose set ups in the 80's . its not something you really see on a Less Paul. If your not going to be doing a divebomb and crazy Steve Vi stuff it should be perfect.  He even mentioned that it wont do the full bend down,, but man that blues sounded amazing on it!  I think for me though I would want a locking nut on the top, but that is cause Im a F R guy.  I could dig this one too!
