Everything in moderation!!!!

If you drink too much, you pay for it later.
If you spend too much, you pay for it later.
If you play too hard, you pay for it later.

I'm sure you'll re-coop just fine and be back at it again. I know I would, volleyball is very fun.

Interesting read. There are lots of woods on that site I would love to see a guitar made of.

I myself have not had it. But anyone I have ever talked to about it says it is one of the best things they have ever done. Not one has said they weren't glad they did it. I was just talking to a customer of mine about it yesterday. At present he still needs reading glasses. He had it done 10 or 11 years ago and says he wants to go back because of the advances that have been made in that field.

Wow, that's some serious stuff you've been dealing with. Thoughts and prayers going out.

When you have a musician of that caliber, that's the reaction you get. I believe it's called awe.

So I believe that a Happy NGD is in order.

Happy NGD!!!

That was kinda cool but.........That's our tax dollars at work. I could think of other things to better spend our money on.

Uh, Zurf, I know it's coming from a good place but you're not helping to inspire anyone with that bunch of vids. Makes me want to sell all my guitars and start knitting as a hobby.

Apart from the brass fittings she looks a fine gal (I have a thing about yellow fittings smile). I am sure she will play just great. Happy NGD!!!

I don't know about the nanowebs, but most maufacturers have in betweens. Like custom light or med-light. Maybe try going one set down and give that a try.

Unless they guys at the store are luthiers I would get a second opinion. Not all guitars are the same and they aren't a universal fit. A luthier will be able to fit your guitar to how you play. Filing the nut means the strings are closer to the lower frets, but what about up at the 12th? Take it in to someone who knows what they are doing. I would recommend a private luthier. Just because they work at a store doesn't mean they are competent. I had this an issue with my first guitar and a store guy. Let's just say, it didn't work out.

Anyone heard of this thing?

Couldn't find a price for the whole kit itself. I'm sure it's not cheap. Replacement parts are available at a pretty penny. Tuners $40 each, battery $40, charger $20. Basically turns any guitar into a robot. Cool idea, nifty gadget, fun to watch it work, but really?

Bummer!!! From what I know of wood and glue, if done properly, it should not have broken in the same spot. Here is a site I visit a lot. The people here really know there stuff.

Ok, whenever I hear or see this commercial I say "I know that song". Finally I looked it up and it is an old song from the 60's. Reach out of the darkness by Friend and Lover. But for the commercial it is covered by Jocelyn Alice. So I look her up. She's got a very cool voice. After watching quite a few of her vids I don't think she's for me but I did find one I liked.

It shouldn't be a big deal really. My first thought is the edge of the fretboard. If there is no binding and the clear from the neck covers the fretboard edge, you will have to remove the clear. That might be a little tougher depending on what clear it is. I think it would look cool.
