I'd need some Just For Men hair color and to lose thirty pounds...

Funny that he's got a scar by his 'laugh line' like I do though.

I usually use a medium strap, except on my Ovation Magnum bass.  It's very heavy, and even a wide, padded strap weighs uncomfortably on my shoulder by the end of a set.

Going?  I'm the main attraction.  Busted by Jets60.  I'm a heavy metal floutist.  LOL!

No.  I'm not going.  I also enjoy Jethro Tull music.

We visited Ashville a few years ago and LOVED it. Great city with lots to do and see.

Non Alcoholic beer can't be good.  I remember Near beer.  Boy were they a poor judge of distance.

No kind of birch beer is alcoholic.  It's a brewed soda, like ginger ale.  It's not meant to taste like beer.  It's got it's very own, spicy and sweet flavor profile.

The county I live in in Virginia has come on strong the last decade as a wine production area.  When I first started enjoying wine tastings, there were 24 wineries in all of Virginia.  Fifteen years later, there are more than that just in our county.  As we have become better and better known for wine production (our strongest wines seem to be Traminette and Viognier varietals), craft brewing has become more popular too.  There are four craft breweries I can think of right off the top of my head.  I've only been to one of them, and my favorite drink at it was a fresh brewed birch beer (not alcoholic).  Really good.

smile  Yeah, it went something like... "Sure why not?", "heck if we care", "yeah, make him feel special" ... ha ha ha ... not really.  Just KIDDING!  But Roger's correct, we did all discuss it.  Enjoy it my friend, you've earned it!

smile  You're too much MKM.

It went nothing like that.  It went more like this: "Beamer's really helped a lot of people and been a good contributor to the site.  It'd be nice if we could do him a favor."

Work has reared its ugly head in a big, bad way.  My department is getting data calls one after another.  I had to cut a week off down to a day off and my boss is dialing in from vacation - still working just from a different place.  As much as I'd like to come, there remains not even the glimmer of a hope that I could make it up your way.

A friend of mine had a Bulltaco and permitted me to ride it.  Once the kick starter worked, it was a fun little dirt bike.  It could take quite a while to get it started.

I hope everything was peachy keen for you Dino.  Jx3 injured himself.  Too much fun, maybe?  He never said.

Guitars can be played right handed (right hand strums/picks, left hand fingers the fretboard) or left handed (opposite).

While some people can play a right handed guitar flipped upside down, Elizabeth Cotton played that way, and our own Southpaw can but doesn't usually, it's generally easier to get a guitar designed for left handed play.  That puts the strings the right way (high e closest to the floor, low E closest to the ceiling) to get the chords using traditional hand shapes.

What Roger calls a caravan, we call a travel trailer here in the states.

Did you guys record it?  You need to record it.  Russell has a lot of collaborative recording tips in the Recording forum.  He's a mutant at that stuff too.

We camped in Missouri and other mid-west states during the heat wave and drought last year and it was miserable. 115 a few days. It's been right wet in Virginia this spring. I wish nothing but good luck and safety to those of you dealing with the heat this year.

Good luck.

I've been working on trying to "let go" when playing.  Perhaps that's why I've been breaking so many strings.  Anyway, it's not easy.  I'm like the Luke Skywalker of self-consciousness.  "The self-conscious is strong in this one, Master Yoda."

Cool. Keep it up.

Dublin Blues - Guy Clark
Don't Think Twice (It's All Right) - Dylan, though I knew this song first from Ramblin' Jack Elliott
Southern Cross - Stephen Stills
Clay Pigeons - Blaze Foley (also covered by John Prine)
Yer So Bad - Tom Petty

Some others too.  I do all covers, though.  I wish I could write, and I probably could if I took time and put effort into it but I just don't because of the need to prioritize things.

2 things to try. The cheapest is white vinegar. Soak a rag with it and let it soak in real good where you found the maggot infested pile of goo. If that doesn't work, then urine-gone. It's meant for removing pet urine smells from carpet, but uses an enzyme to break dow n the organic compounds. I've found that it works on all sorts of organic based odors. Plus it is featured in my only song I've written.

"Better life through chemistry is my reaction
Relief comes solely from enzymatic action."

Not meaning anything negative to Physical Therapists, whom I hold in high regard, ask whether it makes sense that instead you see an Occupational Therapist.

Good luck.  I wish for nothing but the best for you.

Yeah man.  That garage beer song is tip-top.

You need a guitar therapist.
