OK, papatom.  First, it is a nice gesture to buy a couple of ukes for the grandkids, but.........they will probably play around with them for a day or two and then they will end up in a closet.  That's just the way kids are.  So, saving a little more for something you want just seems like a better deal to me.  You will appreciate it more for a longer period of time and dreaming and thinking about it will make you find ways to come up with the extra money.  ANyway, I wish you luck.  Hope you get what you want.

Well, I am happy you have had a good time and kept busy.  Forgive me for visualizing you chasing your tail. smile It is good to have you back.  And a wonderful song that is.  Full of emotion.  I do like emotional songs.  Stick around for awhile this time.

I like that rendition of the song Old Doll.  Once again you bring songs or people I had not known about.  Where have you been, if it's any of my business.  I missed your smiling face around here.  This calls for some Bee Gees

If there those who would complain, they are bad people.  Most of these guys do not want to go back into the mine.  What else do they have?  Good luck to them.

I have a regular padded secretary type chair with no arms.  It adjusts up and down and the back adjusts also.  I looked underneath it , but no name.  I do like a chair with arms for the computer, but I have gotten used to this one.  I use it when playing my guitar 90% of the time.  Now, a chair that has arms that flip up would be nice.

Passing your knowledge down to the family is a good thing.  I didn't do that because I kept starting and stopping with the guitar while my children were growing up.  I wish I had done things differently.  Keep with your goal and guitar playing and you will make it happen.

Good for you, tfsails.  Good luck with it.  As with anything else, it is new to you and the more you play it the more comfortable you will become and the better you will play.  I pick up my neighbors electric once in a while and it seems very strange to me.  You'll get the hang of it.

That would would be worthwhile for sure.  I'd like to see Buffalo Springfield, at least in part.

I think I may have the same problem, toots.  While I don't play gigs, I do play quite a lot each day and I have noticed that my strings start to look slightly rusty up on the frets after a month or so.  Beer and drool is totally another issue that doesn't help.

That is very interesting, to say the least.  The songs really mesh.  It is hard to tell where one starts and the other takes over.  As for the real meaning behind it, we'll have to watch it sveral times I think.
