Yes, he just might! Our heater broke down the other day and I was freezing until we got it fixed. I hadn't really realized until then just how cold it was outside!

I can barely play keyboard...=P

The difference between a violin and a fiddle is...Nothing! It's the style of music that counts. If you are playing fiddle music you play the fiddle. If you are playing classical music you are playing violin. smile Sorry, can't help you with the others.

kbrassel, I've heard letters to the president, but it was at a birthday party so I wasn't really listening because I was talking to my friends the whole time, but I do know that I like the track California from that album. smile

Umm, probably Comatose or Rebirthing. But pretty much all the songs on the Comatose album are good.

I agree, just barre them. It took me forever to figure out barre chords and I was convinced I would never get it right, but now I'm glad I did.

That's a great idea! The only problem is alot of the time when you submit things like Chordie to Wikipedia they delete it because to them it seems like you are just advertising. sad

I used Dominant(and least I think that's how you spell it) strings for a very long time, and then after my teacher moved and I got another she decided I should use D'Addario Zyex strings. I honestly can't tell much of a difference between the two, other than maybe the D'adario sounds a little brighter or happier. I believe Dominant is cheaper though, and I would probably go with those.

I agree, go get a pro. Call a local music store and see if they recommend anyone, that's what my family does.

Being a horse fanatic myself, I thought this was quite funny. But as a fanatic I also know it hurts! smile Sorry about your hand, hope it gets to feeling better soon!

I don't have a chorus pedal, but my amp has some chorus effects on it. I do use it every once in a while, but not usually when I'm performing.  My violin is a solid body. It's a Stagg. It's nothing fancy, but it gets the job done for the price.

Have any of you ever played a McPherson acoustic guitar? I've never played one, but I know many people who do because the guy who designed them used to go to my church. Here's their MySpace: http://profile.myspace.com/138736070 and website: www.mcphersonguitars.com Their sound is really beautiful.

I fiddle a little bit on the worship team at my church. I have an electric violin and they can usually plug me in direct, but sometimes I have to use my Kustom amp. Other than that I don't use any electronics.
