You never met my mate after his motorbike "misshap" lol. they never even realised his pelvis was broken for a week.
So add "brake in time to miss that damn overtaking car" to the list then lol
And I can make light of that, because i'm a biker too, and he's got a sense of humour!

And there's always "Big Bottom" by the great Spinal Tap.
Awesome. "the bigger the cushion / the sweeter the pushin'...."
lol

Well, guitar players have a developed sense of coordination, so it stands to reason doesn't it? you have to make left and right hands do different and independant movements, so the head/belly thing isn't too big a jump.
Genetics? I don't think there's a gene that could be labelled "musical ability". by the same token, some people can match a note heard on their instrument, some cannot. I have read in a few seperate places you can train your "musical ear" to be able to do this. I don't know myself, was blessed with perfect pitch hearing big_smile
have i missed anything? lol

Dunno why, but "Turbonegro" offends me in some way i can't even describe.
Oh, and read an old copy of Bizzare (magazine featuring the slightly more alternative people on this earth if you haven't read it before, not sure it's international), had a list of top 10 offensive band names. Suffice to say, none of them are suitable for listing here, lest i feel the wrath of the administrators lol

i'll agree with the pop, spiffy is the kind of thing you'd expect an upper class gent to say over here (well, spiffING anyway, but close enough for government work!)
no offence intended, that's the whole idea of dialect, they're all different. i'm in the Royal Airforce, so my accent's been diluted by mixing with people all over the country.

rofl you poor bugger. you haven't heard anything yet. we've got more regional dialect in 300 miles than you've got from east to west seaboard (probably lol)
speaking of which, ask upyerkilt to give you a burst o' peeure scottash (Sorry upurekilt, that was my best sincere impression, and my best mate's from falkirk!)

no sanguine, that's cool as. without latin, we'd not be speaking english (or bad english!) as we know it. wish i could've done latin, i'm good at languages. my french is passable, german is reasonable and just started on spanish. want to give esperanto a go, but we'll see on that.
ever thought of writing a song in latin? just a random, wine fuelled spark of an idea!
lol

sorry sanguine, meeting a yorkshireman for the first time in full flow is a bit daunting!

Try strumming down, then backpicking strings 1, 2, 3, (E, B, G) for both wonderful tonight and knocking on heavens door. Once you get that you can vary the backpicking a little. (1, 2, 3, 1, 1, 2, 3 (E, B, G, E, E, B, G) for example)
Sounds great, and easy as you like. same principal for Paradise City by G 'n' R, just a little more in depth! hope this helps

like the pic on the link in msg #2, pulling stupid faces and mouthing the word "wah" every time you tread on the pedal. then feel daft when my mates take the mick. hence - "Wah face"
