Whenever I play stuff like Sonic Youth, I use tunings like F#-F#-F#-F#-E-B, G-A-B-D-E-G, E-G-D-G-E-D. Or sometimes,I'll use whole step or half step down. My guitar strings hate me.

I have $200-300 to spend and I'm stuck between the Orange Crush 30r and the Epiphone Valve Junior Half Stack. I would be using a Fender Telecaster, a Fender Jaguar HH, or a Gibson Les Paul Double Cutaway. I play mainly punk, grunge, and classic rock. Any input? Happy New Years btw.

Try an Orange. I got one this week and it sounds great. The Orange Crush 30R is $200 and is 30 watts. Plus they're orange colored!

On one of my guitars, when I plug it in, it does not work. I've tried two other cords and tried plugging it into other guitars and it works fine so i'm pretty sure it's the input jack in the guitar. I also have checked and the cable is in the right hole,the volume is on,and the guitar volume is on, so i have no idea what the problem is. Please help me out. I've been playing for a long time but i'm not very technical and i don't want to have to take it to a shop when i can probably fix it with your help.
