ok i just started a band and ive been trying to write some good songs we want to sound a little like Taking Back SUnday, but at the same time have a little bit of our own sound in there. so if u dont no Taking Back Sunday is alternative/ rock so we wanna sound like that but i keep trying to write songs and they all sound like punk.. not that thats a bad thing but its just we dont like punk and just wanna sound alternative... so how do i write songs that sound differently? PLEASE HELP

to play chords with more than four fingers u have to barre the strings you can go to http://guitar.about.com to help u if u are just beginning, also when u start play u should practice scales alot even though they arent all that fun but they help u in the long run.

i got my amp in a pack with my guitar but i think its just breaking because it macks poople and cracking noisees now and i sounds really bad, but its only a 15watt.

yeah, my problem is when i try to turn my amp up all the way it beeps really loud and i hate when it does that because why would the am go up to 10 if u cant play with out th beeping in it. does any one n wat i am talking about? if so PLEASE HELP thx.

hey my band was going to be a hard rock band but we dicided to be a christian rock band because JESUS SAVES and it doesnot matter what any one else thinks because in the end u either go to Heaven or Hell it is realy . if u want to no more just ask. bu any ways do u guys have any cool band names for us . thx and i am serious about the Jesus Saves thing, he does. one day all us Christians will go in the Rapture, will u go with us?

i want a no fuzz or static amp like i said in other post , but i want to be able to use destortion also and i want it to sound good to even if the amp is really clean, i dont want it to have so little fuzz or static that it will mess up the destotion. or is that even possible.

hey linusguitar if ur home schooled does that mean u get to redo test and stuff if u get bad grades so u will always get A's or is it just like regulare school were if fail a test then it suck for u. just wondering.
