well glad i wasnt the only one with this problem at first. it took me a while thou. i agree wit alota the ppl above. u just gota try wht diffrent things till u get it. like humming before singing, or tapping your foot, or foucusing on one more then the other. it always helps to learn the guitar part really well first so that your comfertable wit it. and yes capos often help find ur range too. lotsa diffrent ways but just keep trying! youll get it

well a good way 2 teach urself is 2 use youtube...lotsa good stuff thats very visuall and can help u learn things by ear. plus there u can find whole websites that just teach guitar of songs...it cool...4 me i taught myslef a bit and me and my friends played 2ether adn we all taught rselfs but now i got lessons...i just practice and practice and continue to improve and think "um pretty good" more now... so ya lol ttyl

Typical kid stories? hahaha well when i was REAllY little like 5 and so my mom told me stories of my favorite disney charachters and ponies and little girlly stuff...but as i grew they sorty started reading 2 me and eventually i didnt need it anymore. but i really never got "typical" bedtime stories cause tey read me boks or we joked about the day...hahhahahahahalol good times good times......but ya, i really dont remeber most cause they were really random >.< hahahaha

I totally agree with u all. Music is just so...there are really no words to fully describe how lyrics and beats and melodies of songs make u feel. Music is just so AMAZING. in so many ways!!!! sure some ppl have different was of communicating and some feel stronger about music then others but theres even ppl who dont play instruments and just listen to the radio when all of a sudden a song comes on and it conects with them and there life and sweeps to thier core and just flows through them. It can make u weep, laug, dance, angry, or just sing a long. So even for those who dont know it, music afffects alot...as roger said "universal"... )))))
