That is fantastic.A true story makes great song/poems.
I find writing poems/songs a great way to cope with lifes problems
writing it down does seem to help.
Hope you writing this down has in some way helped you.
And yes thoughts are poems( as are opinions and feelings)

My friend has the great burden to be a parking warden,so i wrote this for him.
Of course these are only words,i could never be like this surely.
`The Dance`
Doing the dance
taking a chance
pushing my luck to the full
Avoid..... the parking warden
Move my car
not too far
down round the corner
But far enough
to fool.... the parking warden?
Doing a dance..... with the parking warden
Shall i put my money in the slot
or shall i not
continue the dance,....with the parking warden
Tell a lie, he`s heard them all

Gidday.
I just wrote this song,it`s kinda about musicians/sportspeople/artists.Anyone giving it a go.
some times they take a bit of flack or are not appreciated for their efforts.
Having said that, a lot of my music listening is you guys,so yeah perhaps i shouldn`t have
been silent for so long.so i for one are listening to you.so keep it coming.

I saw a story some where recently about Yamaha guitars.(utube?)
They have found a way to give new wood the sound you get only from aged wood.
There was a demo attached,they hit an ordinary piece of wood( dull thud)
then hit the aged piece(bright ring)
I guess with technology now anythings possible.

Great that you gave a critique,like Peatle says i thought that is what Chordie was about.
It doesn`t happen much here but it should,if you were sitting jamming with someone
you would not hesitate to throw around ideas & opinions.

Yeah i wrote a song with the word love in it.
