Topic: Sigh...

Ok. Not touched my guitar for 2 days. Someone give me a song. One that always gets you going.

Is anything really made up of zeros and ones??

Re: Sigh...

Never mind. Rewind by Paolo Nutini did it. 2 days lost. Thanks Paolo.

Old Doll.

Why Blend in with the Crowd ? When you were made to stand out !

Re: Sigh...

Sweet Home Alabama always gets me started after a departure... nice, and easy, and gets the blood pumping.

I'll have to investigate this Paolo guy...

Just play

Re: Sigh...

Just pick a key, any key, and do a little 12 bar blues.

Hell, just do some 12 bar blues in all the keys.

Nela

I Will Survive (Cake Version using bar chords); it's quite a jam

Re: Sigh...

Thanks everyone.

Really wierd Oldnewbie; after Rewind I went straight into Sweet Home Alabama yikes

Doll - Jack Johnson has kinda passed me by. One of those guys I keep meaning to check out. I think I really must. And, man of the cloth? I think my cloth is a bit threadbare and still a work in progress.

NELA - Yup. Love those blues. Usually in the key of E (I think).

Now, geoaguiar, you have intrigued me with I Will Survive. Could be interesting. This is a song that a LOT of women sing in Scotland when they've had a bit too much to drink lol

Thanks again.

Re: Sigh...

A real easy one to sing to your family, friends and the local vicar.

Dilligaf by Kevin Wilson.

Have a look on Youtube, you may enjoy it.

I think that's my works motto.

Re: Sigh...

Try that song!!! If you listen to Cake's version it'll blow your mind. It's the first song I play 90% of the time I pick up an acoustic guitar. As far as women who've had too much to drink: that's a great place to be at!!!!
