I got my droid Incredible last week and I am able to connect to chordie, but my problem is, I can't remember my old password from years ago and I no longer have the email that is registered on here.  I have tried to contact per, but he won't answer.  I want to change my email and my password.  Any ideas?

Good song, Minnie the Mocher, topdown.  And as long as we are on old novelty songs, Roger, here is the Monster Mash.

Depending on how big the split is, I'll bet you can close the crack with some humidification.

He sounds great.  I guess he must have learned that way as a kid maybe.  If you don't know the difference, then you're good to go.  It is probably not harder if that's the only way you learn.

Well, I just got through mowing the lawn.  Should be about 80 gegrees today.  Not bad.  Mowing makes me thirsty.  Might have to check the fridge to see what is brewing.

Welcome mini me.  Glad to see you had fun playing at the beach.  Sounds like something I would really like.  Did you play any Beach Boys tunes?  Surf city, here I come.

I swear I have never had trouble with the F chord, mutant that I am.  Although I use mekidsmoms chord , but hold down the bottom two strings.  This has never presented a problem for me.   There are lots of chords I have trouble with, but I use cheater chords for them.  They sound good when I am singing.  Maybe my bad singing covers them up and I don't notice.

Welcome.  What kind of music are you into?  Maybe we can suggest some easy two or three chord songs to practice on.

Sounds great Amy.  Now let me get this straight.  I am not familiar with these recorders so bear with me.  To put it simply, this records what you play, right, the same as a simple old style tape recorder, I am guessing.  Then you just upload the piece to where ever you want.  Does this match up somehow with video?  I am trying to figure out how things work so I can post some of my stuff.  Do you need audacity or does it have good enough sound quality by itself?

If you read up some more on guitars you will find that the wood and the internal type of wood bracing is waht makes some guitars sound better.  The cheaper guitars are made of pressed wood and the more expensive ones are made from real wood, at least the top of the guitar should be real wood, but many are made from real solid woods, not only on top, but the back and sides.  The pressed woods can sound pretty good if the guitar is set up as tony says.  There are many types of wood also, which can make quite a difference.

Well I am glad you got that off your chest bswyers.  I have always said that professional sports people make way too much money for something they enjoy.  It should be against the law.  Some of them are so cool and they know it and they have money falling out of their wallets.  The money and the fame just weren't meant for everyone.  Many can't handle it and thats where they end up.  It's a shame really.

I really like it.  Keep up the good work

Welcome to Chordie, thingwhatsit.  Go back to Yopu YTube and search on travis picking pattern.  Merle Travis developed this unigue picking pattern way back when.  It might get you started.  Good luck.

Do stop in from time to time and good luck to you.
