I've never trusted computers, or perhaps my knowledge of them. So I always back everything up either on an external hard drive, memory stick or print.

Personally, although I may visit the electric or gadgets forums, I haven't got a clue what's going on. As in recent posts about new pickups and valves theirs nothing I can add, so its easier to watch from a distance and let it run.
Unlike MKM I don't get on to well with new technology, that's one reason I have never posted on sound cloud or YouTube, I just don't know how. The other reasons are, I can't. Sing and I can't play guitar

The missus is an antique...collector. As such were always looking through antique shops, cash converters, pawn shops etc. I'm always on the lookout for some named guitar like a Martin or a Rikki etc, that someone wants to get rid of but doesn't know the value of. Not had to much luck yet, just a Freshman 12er and a Washburn bass.

Came as a bit of a shock. You got a great songwriting talent.

Well, I'm lost for words. Speechless. Words like stunning and brilliant don't do this masterpiece justice.  TIG, the lyrics are so moving, and Phill's arrangement and performance are off the scale. Can't wait for your next collaboration,

So sad and heart felt Jandle. Your poem and the thought of what you're going through brought a tear to my eye. I wish all the best for you and your mum.

I would find example 3 slightly confusing as in reading music the dot would extend the note, or notes by half. In playing the middle example is far easier to read, and at the end of a line as an acoustic player tap out the beats on the guitar body to keep the timing.

Great song TIG. Personally thats how I like my music,  just raw and unpolished.
A word about the dog. Do you think perhaps he was trying to get in on backing vocals?

Just played it through, another great song Phill. It took me a bit of time to work out some of the split chords, but thats just me being thick. Nice one Phill

Great find, I never heard of her till now. I particularly enjoyed  Sort of. The vocal gymnastics reminds me in many ways of Joni. You've set the bar pretty high for yourself Amy, an excellent start.

It's  St Patrick's day here now in the UK. Although I don't celebrate it myself (and were not allowed to celebrate St George's day). I hope you have a good one. Ps can you get Guinness over there?

I used to have a 650 BSA Gold Flash, when someone brought a 250 Honda I told him they would never catch on.

A big hello from one Rustie to another. Been an admirer of his work from Buffalo Springfield days till now. Off to see him in Leeds in June. I'm also an old bugger (62), and also play guitar very badly.  Look forward to seeing you around.

Don't know how I missed this one, but it's awesome.  Reminds me of something the late John Denver may sing. Perhaps as spring is upon us you could do a follow up.

WOW, T F said it bacwards so I'll say it upside down. MOM, the lyrics are very thought provoking,  especially to an old codger like myself, but the performance.  Don't change a thing, Jan I just love that raw, unpolished sound. I think it's great
