You're going to get some strange answers on this from the young folks.  Ought to be interesting.  Upyerkilt, I'm surprised you don't know.

I have a Fender acoustic and I just barely bought a Martin Custom D.  It is great.  I love the sound.
HalfSarg, my dad was assigned to Spangdahlem in 1965 and was diverted to Sembach.  I went to high school in Ktown.  I have lived in that area many times in my life.  Glad to meet you.

I have been to his site. He is very good.  I downloaded Classical Gas from him.

Sounds great to me Jay.  Keep it up.

A funny thing.  It happened to me again after I submitted above remark.  It just froze when I tried to X out of the browser.

This has happened to me a few times, Russell.  I thought it was my computer.  Thanks for bringing it up.

Yeah, that's a great song.   I just added it to my repertoir recently.  It's a fun song.  A real crowd pleaser, too.  Ooby dooby is another one by Roy that is fun.

Having lived in Germany off and on throughout my life, I love most German beers.  Americans beers I just tolerate.  Who cares after three or four anyway.

A lot of the old country songs like Ring of Fire and Folsom Prison are the easier songs to learn.  Try some of them.  Amanda is another good easy song.  Good luck.  The fingers will toughen up shortly.  Keep at it.

I believe the guitars are all laminate material.  This is probably a good gutar for the very much beginner, I suppose.

I love that type of sound.  It reminds me of what I might hear on the New Age channel, or am I wrong?

Russell, I think yours was something by Jahann Sebastion Bach

I checked mine out again and found Tennessee Waltz by Patti Page.  You can also just search your favorite search engine with No 1 hits in 19__
