selso if you read the "sticky" on posting in the song writing forum the lyrics must contain chords or it is concidered a poem and should be posted in the poem forum smile

thanks! im glad it worked. the lyrics:
Sometimes you love me honey, sometimes you dont
it dont make a difference baby, i'll just make a joke
you dont like the clothes i got or the way i comb my hair
if i told you i was leaving, well you wouldnt even care
chorus:
sometimes i love your ways
most of the time i got nothing to say
cuz you went home to your daddy
with the kids and the car

i know theres a diffrence between pleasure and pain
its like waking up in detox and not knowing your name
i know theres a diffrence between heaven and adn hell
but they both seem the same , so just pay my bail
back to chorus
\help with chordpro would be great!

Fatstrings gave some good tips, you may not be following the upload procedure which is.
log in,click upload files, mediafire opens your computer documents and you select which file to upload click "open" and it will start the upload you must then name a folder the narrow window that has typing in it on the right just click your mouse there and backspace till all the printing is gone and type in your folder name then click "upload" and it will start uploading your file to the folder you named after it is done verifying it will prompt you to "view"your folder where the song is stored and the folder name is what you tell your friends to open and when they click on the song it will open another page and its says "dowload folder" thats all you have to do,give it a shot and if your still having trouble get back to us smile

I watched the proceedings and video taped almost all the segments my new TV is a digital flat screen and the images look great I'm going to edit what i have and put some music to it I especially liked the yo yo ma and itsalk pearlman performance I enjoyed the new presidents speech but it was a little long I imagine the former president was a little uncomfortable having to hear all the problems that occured during his terms in office from president Obama's speech I sure hope he lives up to the high ideals that got him elected (I voted for him) I think he will be a great president and I wish him and his family God speed smile

OK we got the Arizona Cardinals versus the Pittsburgh Steelers and its going to be a great game, the Cardinals took it to the Eagles in a hard fought game and the Steelers were just to much for the Ravens there defense looks like there ready for anything and "Big Ben" is as tough as any quarterback in the NFL.The Cardinals are a Cinderella team not to many picked them to go to the Superbowl,I watched both games and I'm going with Pittsburgh but it wouldn't surprise me if the Cardinals rode away with the trophy either way its going to be a great game and as I type this I cant recall the quarterback for the Cardinals I know he played with the Seattle Seahawks and its on the tip of my tongue but at this moment I'm drawing blanks.so whats your choice? smile

Stonebridge I understand what your saying and at present I am recording a CD at Trax Studios in Wisconsin they use Pro Tools and the procedure you describe must be what the engineer is doing or something similar,at home I do not have the equipment to facilitate this procedure (not yet anyway) thanks for the explanation smile

You all (some many) are entitled to your collective opinions but I like to record with a little reverb when I AM singing it sounds good and I feel better singing I dont like a dry microphone unless its at a pta meeting

I think the use of effects creates the sound for example overdive, sustain, delay, flanging, compression, tremelo, waw waw and yes reverb smile
