This edited link worked the old one didn't hence my comments, good concept idea,I had a little trouble understanding the lyrics and the song is kinda short but it is a good song to develop further, if you need assistance with intruments or backing vocals check out the recoring forum there are lists of members who can help in all aspects

I think myspace is having a moment things seem to be acting a bit crazy.
I sent Russ a chissy card and I think it's wiped out all his comments
Sorry russ... just delete. it might only effect me though.
Your Myspace page says you haven't log in today...Eh...
I was going to upload myself but I think I will wait abit...
Ark
Myspace is experiencing a meltdown of sorts, there are problems with many areas since they upgraded to there new system,I have only one comment on my profile page when there are over 40 that were there before they remodeled and I have problems with my music player its on and off again with loading uploaded songs get lost, photos for the songs and that annoying prompt comes on while im listining to some songs to add to my playlist not to mention a pesky virus that appears in the form of a active x control or some other "offer" they should have left it the way it was at least everything worked, yea "if it aint broke dont fix it" comes to mind
Thank you Phill, you are a quality addition to this list your lyrics are always first rate

unhhuh the links got a problem it say "oops no content" when I played the song must be a glitch somewhere
rubber baby buggy bumpers, say it fast 5 times
makes ya laugh!
Thank you Helena I found this a very enjoyable performance the sound quality was hampered somewhat due to the video being recorded with a video cam or digital camera but im sure he sounds great live and in the recording studio
OK Doug I have a few, first let me say I would be happy to participate in a global thingamajige I must have a quadrillion tracks(songs) to contribute for this project, second the quote "the root of all evil" is so often misquoted the correct quote is "the love of money is the root of all evil" money itself is not evil, I know I have so little of it I have to be nice
the only stepping stone is coordinating all the tracks to put on a CD I have the necessary Programs (Nero and AVS cover design) and kunaki will make a master and use your artwork for free the only requirements is for each CD sold they ask for $1.75 plus shipping but if you ship in bulk its free and you can sell it for whatever you want,my favorite charities are The Salvation Army and the Rescue Mission because 98%of the money donated go's directly to help the needy but there are several worthwhile causes and charities we could assemble a list and choose which ones would use the donations to give direct aid to those who need it,this is a wonderful suggestion and one I am happy to embrace but the logistics of organization would have to be in place and that includes legal issues as well as a financial institution and someone to oversee and insure the proceeds find there way to these causes we select, but I'm in favor of this idea and any help I can give with my talents and equipment I will gladly donate
Rodney Dangerfield's "my wife is such a bad cook we pray after we eat"
"my wife is such a bad cook the flys all pitched in to repair the hole in the screen door"
or "my wifes so fat when God said "let there be light he told her to move her fat butt
I have uploaded the Mark Lowry song "Mary did you know" to my Christmas Songs folder. it is a beautiful song that was featured on the "Gaithers Hour" a weekly broadcast on television that features gospel music, and I was so impressed with it after listining I found myself recording it'

Reason is more of a music generating kit. Think MIDI control surfaces and virtual effects. It's quite powerful.

It doesn't do recording, but it does give you lots of stuff you can do to edit and master recordings you might have. I use it a lot for composing and arranging.
Thanks Jerome, is this MIDI kit a digital recorder kind of thinge or a program like audacity and reaper? either way I appreciate your contribution

Your "words" were moved here to the chat corner from the songwriters forum, if you have your own chords I suggest you include them with your lyrics when posting in the songwritting forum that is the policy.

But what is with Dylan's Knocking on Heavens Door? It seems to be in everybodys play list,
now don't get me wrong I like a lot od Dylan''s songs, especialy the covers done by,
Joan Baez. But I can't seem to like Knocking on Heavens Door?
Luck and Health to all!!!
If it helps the C chord is a tritone of the notes C E G and you can place them in any order and it would still be a C chord and the 1 4 5 is not the chord construction thats 1 3 5 the 1 4 5 in G is G C D it is used in a progression like a blues or rock,so C/G is really optional because the open G in a C chord is already there (1st posistion) the notes in a open C chord are C E G C E so adding the 5th G is optional
rogerb before you post a song in the songwriting forum the song must have chords, words alone without chords is not a song,it is a poem
Pix welcome back good to hear your computers back on line, and I offer my condolences on the loss of your grandmother, and do the best you can with the songs I think everyone present will understand and offer support to you and your family
