I have also seen Nashville Numbering on some songs too. On some songs if you look you will see chords, tabs, and Nashville Numbering all on the same song. As Bill said none of it is Chodie's fault. Sometimes the sites change what they list.

This song is massive, and sad. Well written and anyone who can read  must feel your emotion.

I agree with Phill you do make all of us think who read what you wrote. You have a true talent. I always  look forward to your next one.

I do not know how I missed this one and it is so perfect of a song and  covers all of the problems. I think if someone invents something stronger, you get one high and then drop dead.

That is a keeper. Only my grand daughter would want me to teach her to play it.

beamer you are excellent with  saying so much in few words.  Really nicely written and thank you for allowing us to read it.

In my years of  teaching I have seen it once and it turns out  that he was using both too much pressure and was using two high a tension. My suggestion if you want to play well is to use the lightest tension on your guitar so it will not buzz when you play. Also use the lightest touch when playing that get a clean sound. Start playing for 10 minutes and add 10 minutes a week. If you hit your notes in the center between two frets it will take less pressure for a clean sound. Play a little each day.

The way this is written shows so much. For some reason it makes me think of Journey "Open Arms".

I just watch it and he was playing a classical guitar and used a thumb pick.  In his playing, and he was good, but he was using a true travis picking style. What he was playing was in reality an easy tune although a long one. So Phill no smashed up guitars. I and betting  what you play he may not.

I have never seen a harp sound so beautiful before. Almost sounded like picking a piano. A very nice find TF.

Segovia  who inspired thousands how  to play true classical guitar. He also understood  very well how to properly tune a guitar.  If you look at this guy's guitars the half notes are frets he added himself. He should have spent some money on a good turner.

Elmore James  was a good choice. I  listened  to some others of his after  the one you picked. Sounded like he used a slide on his videos that was just sound with no real video.

Aretha Franklin died today from Pancreatic  Cancer.  We lost another  great talent.

Thank you for the translation.  Now it means we know now what he said in his song.

The bass player was good and was the drummer. Wish I knew what he was singing. From the audience reaction I am sure the singer was good too.

I had to look Mississippi John Hurt  and now know why. Neil Young has unique sound and style and his influence is very good.  sweet baby james by JJames Taylor  is a great choice. James Taylor took guitar lessons for several years to develop his unique style. On his website he now has several lessons and they are interesting. Here is a link to his site: https://www.jamestaylor.com/guitar-lessons/

easybeat in a few words you said so much.  I hope more Chordie members will comment too. As a group of the normal members apathy is not a problem.

I have worked a lot of years to get where I am how with classical guitar. Frankly I am envious of many steel string players that are great and Flying Fingers posts often remind me how good they are on steel strings and Phill I have read your posts and your experience often comes out.

Who Influenced the way you play the most? For me it  is an has always been Andrés Segovia. Without what he did  people like me would not be playing true classical guitar.

Really nice and clean playing by Van Larkins. You find some interesting people Tenement Funster. I also noticed he used a thumb pick and that is not that is not unusual on steel stings.
