yea i would like to see a video of "the flash" myself, but it aint how many notes you can play that impress but the notes themselves. you can play a gazillion notes per second and still not play anything that makes any sense speed ALWAYS takes a back seat to quality

Re: DOES IT STILL EXISTS? (5 replies, posted in Chordie's Chat Corner)
a musical think tank? i think it is in place today judging from all the cookie cutter songs being released there is a formula or reciepie most all, if not all record companies follow and that is to keep the songs it releases to the public the same as the previous with differn't words and a variation in the progression ever so slight so the song can be marketed as "new"

Re: Loose strings (2 replies, posted in Acoustic)
have you checked the tuneing pegs? are they secure, there are two adjustments one on the back of the headstock that secures the machine head to the headstock (at least 2 screws) and i screw into the tuneing peg itself so theres no play in the peg when you turn it not all machine heads have this feature

Re: Watery Sound (7 replies, posted in Electric)
doc i have never heard the term "watery"myself unless it means thin or not as loud as the other strings if the strings are new the problem could be in the pickup coil or wireing
I have some spare strings, but sometimes my little E snaps, and I used a B-string.
I did this twice, and the sound? not so different.
But "watery"? Never heard this term.
I need to change strings really soon, on some guitars, I get a METALLIC sound, touching or playing on a string.

Ark not to worry i am planning several more videos that i will be filming on location, places like the lake at sunset the old cemetary (no s#@t)
and as soon as i get the money from the rebate the us government is giving all or most all taxpayers i am getting a top line video editing program and a new camcorder with better resolution then my kodak 8.2 megapixel im running a 4 gig memory chip right now and i can shoot up to 80 minutes of video and store it till i want to load it to my pc or 3500 pictures the best is yet to come onward and upward and i will find time for a project we spoke of so i definitly have enough to keep me busy and thanks ark for your words russ

Re: CAPODASTRES or CAPOS: THE BEST? (7 replies, posted in Guitars and accessories)
clansman i have a kyser it does the job and i dont have a stay in tune problem most people who use a capo dont posistion it correctly on the fretboard and that usually causes the guitar to have a tuneing problem
I like the spring loaded Kyser capo, around £12.00 or so

helena i called and the earliest i can get in is next tuesday so i filmed the video anyway now i know what the phrase "suffering for your art "means.but i have my agenda and that is more important then a little discomfort so im glad you enjoyed the song i had it on myspace for a bit but i didn't have a video i plan on doing videos for several more and i have some ideas for them that will make them look nice,by the way your song is on my new site along with your smiling face and everyone who sent me a picture including docphil i hope to add more photos of fellow chordians mabey the elusive per will annoint me with one(but i seriousley doubt it)
anyway i have at least five web sites with my songs and videos and who knows i might get lucky
