I wrote this song today - didn't want to break my string of songs using all of the words suggested for song of the month. It was a tougher challenge- but I think it came out okay. ( I even managed to add a few words associated with water not on Jan's list!:)
I will re-submit it in the November SOTM thread when it opens.

Nice one Richard.
That is super acoustic guitar playing - seems like a few different strum patterns were involved. I almost thought there was another guitarist playing with you off camera. Also liked the pauses of the guitar to emphasis the important section of the lyrics. Well done. Jim

I see it a little different than Peatle.
I am envisioning a self centered Woman that let her ego and self fulfillment get in the way of the relationship. The guy tends to blame himself.
Nice arrangement - interesting lyrics - leaves a lot to imagination.
As usual, the l vocals and guitar playing were superb!

Very well done - I think there were a few times when you " let go" and sang like the boss! Great guitar playing !
I think if you could have somehow increased the vocal and decreased the guitar it would have enhanced it.
In any case it was a superb rendition o Bruce's song.
