Good to  see you back here on Chordie Beamer your an interesting character glad to see your found a good lady to have adventures with. Thanks to Easybeat  he has kept me up to date with chordie  as I haven't been on here often as I don't really have much or anything to offer. When I do look in from time to time nobody is posting. You certainly have embraced technology  and taken your music to another level. Though I'm not very tech I can see the appeal of using those tools. I am one of those strange people who still reads books and hardly watches TV some say I'm living on another planet or am stuck in an era that is gone. Anyway, great to see you on here and I have also followed yours and Jets plus Zurf exploits from time to time on the Facebook. Rock on brother.

Thanks Grah, cracked ribs are worse than the broken bones in my arm.  But thankfully, ribs are on the mend.  I can now get in and out of bed without pain!

Wishing you a quick recovery Jan.

Bill wonderful to see you  back on chordie. I have always enjoyed your wise outlook on life and thoughts about music with the added bonus of reading those interesting stories from your life. I was sorry to hear of Dondra passing. You have had more than your fair share of battles but I am also sure you are just like David who overcame Goliath with your bravery you will overcome all the things that dare to challenge or are stupid enough to think they can defeat you. My brother in music  your a champion.

Good tune - I understand your sentiment, but disagree with the line "firing a bullet is a sin", as my brother has a farm in the rural areas; sometimes a shot gets fired to scare the foxes away ... anyway, dropped you a like on YouTube!

Cheers

Richard

Richard you have lost me there. My song has nothing to do with shooting animals or owning a gun it is about people shooting people in anger. Aside from that thank you for taking time to have a listen.

Here I am attempting to do a song I wrote it still needs refining to get it into a better shape. I'm not up to playing guitar much nowadays and my vocals are not good.

Richard you and your bandmates put that together good.

Cheers Piri the problem with mainstream radio is the gatekeepers who control what gets played and what doesn't. Programme directors and radio promoters have nowadays been corrupted by some unknown thing that stifles new and exciting and old and exciting taking away a chance to be heard. Those with the big money set trends and its not exciting or a good thing for music I think. Powerful corporations make it all bland to me.

Thank you Piri and Jim for your feedback. I will attach another great tune here which uses a dobro and a guitar plus an upright bass with good bit of drumming with an effective driving beat and a raunchy vocal. I love the clever lyrics on this one also.

I like hearing good vocals with two guitars and a cello. especially when one of the guitars is a Dobro. The vocals a lady with a raunchy voice and two guys harmonizing on backing vocals.

I will attach a video of a perfect blend of classical and rock. Check out the lead guitarist on here he is only eleven years old and is brilliant his name is Olly Pearson. He flew over from his home in Wrexham Wales to Paris to perform in this video. Julien Cohen did a brilliant job of arranging all the musicians and the sound and film crew to put this this video together. Julien is the guy on the piano.

Cheers Piri and Brian thank you for your feedback. It is an honour to be part of this community even though the spammers have raised their head on here. Thank you to all of those who regularly post kudos to you all. Isn't it great that music has no limitations for everyday people like most of us on this planet that we can look at that video of a kid who is a musical genius having fun displaying his joy of playing in a situation that many wouldn't expect  to hear or see such a talent that uplifts everyone involved. ????   So hopefully things like that keeps everyone inspired that pass through here to have a go.

Am I the only one that thinks Classical music can be fun ? ???? There are many who made Classical music assessable such as Arthur Fiedler.  People like Julien Cohen in recent times are also making classical music more assessable.  I will attach a vid that might show what I'm trying to say.

Cheers Jim, Keep up the good work. It is winter here some regions of our country have been hit hard by storms and flooding but fortunately in my area it's been not to bad.
Wishing all the Chordians who read this all the best.

I have enjoyed everyone's comments on the Narrowboat sessions here maybe one day we will see or hear a chordian  song on the canal boat. The cabin little space has good acoustics and a special ambiance to showcase live performances.
