4. Neophytte challenged Anyone to cover these two songs …. Crazy by Patsy Cline and You and Me by Alice Cooper.

Hey everyone, for OCTOBER we are going to have a CHALLENGE MONTH again, we haven’t had one of these in a while!
What does that mean? It means YOU can CHALLENGE ANYONE to a SONG of YOUR CHOICE! That`s right … YOU can COVER it YOURSELF if you want and then CHALLENGE SOMEONE ELSE to COVER it … OR you can just CHALLENGE SOMEONE to COVER a SONG of your choice!
Now ….. just to add to the FUN, you can also do any INSTRUMENTAL COVER YOURSELF and or CHALLENGE a member to do any INSTRUMENTAL COVER if you want, that`s right ….. so, there`s no escaping for those members out there who like to perform INSTRUMENTALS but are not so keen on the singing part.

Nope I don`t read music at all when playing however I can work out the notes slowly at a snails pace if I had too. It's interesting though because a group I am in that play at rest homes and retirement villages, some members can read music ... but one of them who reads music her timing is always out and quite often it is hard work learning new songs with her because she doesn't HEAR music only reads it. Often it ruins the song we are learning or we have to spend ages learning it as she doesnt have an ear to hear how it should go.

Roger, I attempted the song~ Love Is All~ Around but just couldn't do it justice at all! I tried quite to record it a few times and just didn't sound right so I gave up, don`t think it suited my voice even with transposing the chords. The other song I don`t know so didn't do it.

beamer well written and great to see you and jets collaborating with songs. I like this song and it was great to see you perform it on you tube. You surprised me with your version too, guess I was expecting a heavier or metal touch to it from you so a surprise, nicely done.
jets, ditto to the collaborating with beamer as said above. Liked the chords you put with it, it sounded great. Your vocals sounded in parts a bit like Neil Young, hope that's a compliment as I like Neil Young and his music.
