I saw the the program.
I must agree that it was excellent. Highly informative but not to stuffy.
Alan Yentob was a great presenter. It was good to see old Bert Weeden still going strong.
Looking forward to next one in the series....
Hope you get to see the series at some point Russ it's well worth a watch.

I know this question was aimed at Russ but....
To answer your question it would be yes. If you use Audacity software then it will pretty much record anything you can hear through your soundcard with distortion or not.
It's a good general recording and mixing program.

I was sorry to hear of Paul Newman's death.
It seems his name has been around in films for all my life and what a great Hollywood actor he was.
"Cool Hand Luke" is one of my favourite films...

The dire portrait you paint in your song is very depressing but has humanity really changed. I know myself that I would rather live now then at any time in the past.
I think the media of all kinds has a big bearing on how the world is pecieved by us all. Reporting everything that is bad and very rarely mentioning anything positive.

Ever considered trying to do some of your own stuff?
Set yourself a guitar goal it could be anything from learning a difficult piece to a different style of playing….
All these could get you inspired
