Once in awhile mine get where they are peeling off a little.  I try to wait until they are mostly off until I pick it off.  Its hard not to pick at them.

If they stilol sound good to you, thhen they are good.  Although you may be surprised at the difference in sound when you do change them.  I am assuming it is the same as a guitar.  If you play only once in awhile, then you are probably good, but if you play daily, you should probably change them.  I change my strings every three to six months.

I'm with beamer.  I get on FB but have never tweeted.  I don't need something else ruling my life.

And if that is the only chords you can play right now, it would boost your list by thousands if you learned A, F and G along with those.  Then you would be cooking.

Good to see you again.  So, how is it going with the band?  Yes, there are quite a few new members.

That song brings back a lot of memories for me.  I've always liked it.  And he does a great version of it.  He was on Idol or Americas got Talent a year or two ago.  I really like his style.

You need to go back and tell him what you know and see what he says.  On the other hand, what is important is, you like the guitar and the sound.  I'm not sure beyond that, whether you got ripped off or not since I am not familiar with those guitars.  Good luck.
