DRAKE isn't it a waste of money? Of course how many persons on 1000 will continue to play? That's why I wrote a while ago if you buy a FENDER in stead of a SQUIER you might be more motivated.
AMPS + FLOORBOARDS + GUITARS = every kind of sound.
PURE? I love to play pure but also using "heavy" effects.
It's a difficult point. You can be owner of a genuine Gibson see melodymaker for 400$ and 800$ gives you a flying V or an SG.
THIS IS SO DIFFICULT. Most of wannabe players have a limited budget, and a squier gives a great sound as an epiphone SG special, one of the cheapest guitars, provides also a nice sound.

STOP STOP SSTOOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

neva eva neva eva buy a squier maybe an epipgone but NOT a squier
they cant stay in tune, they dont sound good and they fall apart!!!!

sorry i quoted the wrong person

I agree Zakk couldn't replace Randy but keep in mind they play totally different styles ... I love Zakk's "raw power in your face" playing

yes you r right...you cannot really compare them they are both amazing...Zakk is probably a lot faster but its the who idea of rhandya dn ozzy tht is amazing...lets all hope that Zakk doesnt end up the way that rhandy did... and lets hope none of him  mates almost shoot him aswell...

who needs a capo!!!!....serouisly im not joking...
its allobut learning the songs with capos/or in differnt tunings
then transcribing them... it saves your strings from not having to change them around and your tuning from the capo...
PLUS...they are a bit ugly
...
cept maybe a wrapround jim dunlop...but they arent the best tho...http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/en/jd-11cd/10523

i have problems with my orginal guitar "squire"
so i wish to purchase a new guitar, i will use it in live preformacies as i am in the middle of starting a band,
i dont have a HUGE amont of money 2 buy with, and want to buy, anther few accsercories...in cluding a marshall micro stack,
i would like to spen between 300-400/450 on a guitar. im not happy at all with the squire that i have bought, i was looking at a custom LP epiphone, but have recently herd that they are a VERY heavy guitar. So have been looking at a G-400 SG epiphone, but still not sure.  my freind has bought a 300 japaniese brand guitar, nothing to flash bu he sayes that it has a better sound then his SG so i am pritty open to any guitar..THNX..=D

Good morning, at least here already in Europe.
I like to know how old you are. Not because of statistics, but more to know your budget.
Probably you still go to school??!! I think guitar school. It's important, because we speak here about money to buy another or to change parts, like pick-ups, tuners.

yes still in school...
buget is a small problem,
i don't really want to spend any money on the repair if possible,
as i am trying to save up,
for a les paul, so i hope that someone,
maybe able to give me a simple answer,
that i could try myself,
if not to difficult
or endangering the life,
of my first gutair,
for the reason of centimental value..
thank you for your help...

Hi Anastasia,

I was going to say what Roger just said.
Superglue was invented during the Vietnam war to glue skin together for a quick fix until they got to a better place.
Flea from the red hot chili peppers glued ( or maybe still does) his fingers before and during a gig as he played that hard his fingers bled.

But then he was getting paid loads ,lol.

I think you should rest it for a few days to be honest.

Ken

hey ken......
i feel his pain...
i have played untill i have blepp...
sadly i had to stop to get a bandade...

i agree....when i am in the street i will tip a felow musicain
whetere they are good or weather thay are not soo good...
just as long as they are trying..anyone to get up there with
the courage with nothing backing you, not evan fellow rockers
then i aplude you!but not thoses kinda people who just add all this rubbish togethwer!

okay
well
i have a VOX 10 watt
not that powerful but a gr8 sound...
my uncles mate who is in a bend with him uses his VOX
50 watt...actully i think that its a 50 watt..maybe 75...but
check the VOX line out

hey

i have a problem with my "squier bullet strat stratacaster"

well its kinda my fault, but here is my problem...
i took my electric gutair to skool as i needed to play it...
i left it in a gutair room where i belived that it would be safe...
but i was wrong...
somebody came into that room...
and messed with my guitar...
my input jack was stuffed up..
and it fell out...
well i fixed that and whent to play and i noticed that...
my pickups had been played with...
i had to move them around...
in the end i had to take my pick guard completely off..
and fix them up!...
now i have a really bad problem with sound...
i get really bad reverb when ever...
i turn it up or put my distortion pedal in...
it kills me with the sound...
VERY VERY EMBARRESING WHEN I HAD TO PLAY IN FRONT OF OVER 700 PEOPLE!!!!!!!

any help would be greatly apresheated!!!

mate
not that sure,
but i think that you really need
to go for quality
its expensive but if you want
a good guitar then you get what you pay for,
i think that you will be lookin at atleast 900
dollars. but if you want it a bit cheaper then you definatly
need to go for an epiphone....NEVA...NEVA...NEVA... buy a squier..
trust me i have one...
but mate maybe you should try a TELECOUSTIC or STRATACOUSTIC..
i have not played one but theyhave a good review...+ any fender acoustic that i have played
has a very nice sound plugged in and out
hoe that was helpfull
