Hi Guys,
Up till a few months ago I lived in New Zealand but now in Samoa.

In My Life - The Beatles

My First Album was given to me and it was "HOMER & JETHRO"  Never heard of them till then (Early 60's) But the first Album I brought, after saving all my money to buy a record player, was Englebert Humperdink - Please Release Me !
Still have them both.

OKay guys since the question I asked a few days ago I have been DREAMING of Southpaws pot roast.  I can Smell it !  When I get back to New Zealand I am going to cook me up ONE Big potroast.  Here in Samoa it is very hard to find Potatoes and beef is very, very expensive.  So I shall wait to get back where the prices are cheap.
Thank you SouthPaw.
All these meals sound great.  I must've lived a sheltered life, cos I haven't heard of many of these dishes.
Okay, so I am off now to have myself a fresh banana and cabin bread.
Bye smile

Hi Bri and Duilio,
You have come to the right place.  If was not for these neat people here, I would've have probably gave up.  I was a guitar player many years ago and halted because of a busy life and then only picked up the guitar a couple of years ago and was starting to stagnate until I found this site.  Everything is here to keep you motivated.  So keep playing and keep at Chordie.  Give it heaps.  ENJOY.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Whiskey will do if you have no bourbon !  After you've drank a few then you start eating the the coconut - saves you drinking any more smile

Hey Altex, Went to Victoria where they seem to have 'cleared up' the flu.  Horses still there though, will give me an excuse to head back over soon!
Doll, I have made a mixture what I am now calling "Samoan Porteen"  Drank it with my cuzzies over there and they all think we are on to something.  So we might market it to the tourists!  It's 1 part bourbon, 1 part coke, 1 part pineapple juice, 1 part barcardi and served cold in a coconut shell with the flesh left in..........................beautiful.  After a couple of them, lyrics get completely lost and all that counts is that someone playing a guitar!

Hi Chordians,
Nice to be back.  I have been away for a few weeks over to the land of OZ with a few horses, then on to Samoa.  I have missed my daily fix on Chordie and find that I have so much to catch up on!  Also, the entire time I was away I only played a guitar ONCE and that was in a bar.......somewhere.  So I have to take a few days off and get back into it.
Nice to be back.

As I write this I am listening to David Gilmour "On A Island" and it's on its last track so in one minute I will be listening to Jack Johnson D)
