I came across this software because I was having problems with getting Audacity to process my recordings as mp3's I downloaded the lame_enc dll which is a library that Audacity uses to convert your recordings to mp3 or wav ogg vorbis etc. I can send a signal from my Digital BR-8 via the output rca jacks useing a standard mp3 player Y chord to my mic input on the back of my computer.the Record pad has no problem with conversion this is set in the control preferences you have two choices wav or mp3 you do have to adjust the input volume in the control panel under sounds once done there is a light meter that monitors the input when you record (Green and red) so like any recording keep the input volume low enough so it dont stay in the red or you will have a distorted recording its really simple to use.I use my other computer that was fixed to process all my recordings from my BR-8 and then store them in a jump drive for upload from my Vista and untill I get a new router and some new usb chords the other PC will remain off line.If you already use this software there is an option to buy the more advanced version but this link is for the free version which should suit most users its a lot easier and faster then audacity and user friendly smile

the posting of copyrighted material in any forum on Chordie is prohibited if  the song is incorrect it cannot be edited as this feature was removed due to issues of copyright infringement lastly Chordie dose not host songs it is a search engine all the songs are from other sites Chordie finds them. The only forum that a song can be displayed is in the songwriting forum and it has to be an original work.

After looking at the song you provided a link for there is no reason for the asterisks musically, perhaps the person who charted this did not know how to express a minor chord or even a dimished thats my guess but there are no * in sheet music that I'm aware of smile

the fact is anyone can steal or record your songs a copyright is only good if you take them to court and sue, most of the time its setteled out of court and the composer only gets a fraction of what the song generated in sales case in point the song by Huey Lewis "I want a new drug" was taken for the theme "Ghost busters" Huey sued and got about 1/10 of what the song earned

ok lets start at the beginning try this simple strum pattern count 1 2 3 4 and  down strum on each count do this till you dont have to count anymore keep it slow and even to start and gradually speed up then try this stum pattern 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and substitute down up for 1 and 2 so its down up down up down up down up keep the meter or time even as before start slow and graduall speed up, the key is to keep the time even after a while when you feel comfortable move on to other strum patterns when your ready.
