Hi Pix,

I was down your way yesterday, had to run to Wilmington, seen the signs for Chadbourn hope I'm spelling that right" and I knew you lived close by there, wish I would have had time to look you up but it was kinda a spur of the moment thing, anyway just thought I'd mention I was down your way.

I use to play somewhere around 25 yrs ago, got to where I could should in the mid to high 80's, not so bad, not so good for a weekend golfer, but at first I was hitting balls so deep into the woods that I was started to find fossils.

Songs that were not directly written about a woman or in-directly written about woman,is still for a woman, I  assure you it was written to try to impress a woman, so therefore it's always about the woman.

Roger,

I'm so sorry to find out about your loss, it's so hard to understand why and when things happen, but especially hard when it's unexpected, again I'm so sorry for your loss, as I myself have had a string of my family as well as my Wifes family pass in this last year, some expected, some not, so I know how it feels, best wishes to you my friend.

I agree that they make to much money, way to much, especially baseball which has no salary cap, but to much in all sports. I seldom ever watch any professional sports because of their actions on and off the field, I'm sick of it, have been for many years now. I love college basketball and football, for the most part they play with their hearts, and yes even college sports has it's problems. When I was a kid you could look up to the guys playing sports as role models, not to say that there wasn't players even then who got into things they shouldn't have there was, but now with instant communications, and technology being what it is words, pictures get out there. A couple of good examples were Babe Ruth, he was a drunk off the field, even as far back as Ty Cobb, he was a known racist. I believe in cleaning up sports, if they get caught with a serious enough offense I say kick them out for good, and they should know thats how it's going to be coming in. I believe in second chances for some things but for others you should just simply be out period! Clean the games up. I'm sick of the thugs, the I'm greater than God attuide they have, oh look how great I am, sick of it, give me college sports any day of the week.

Hello from Myrtle Beach

My Wife and I decided to get away for a few days so we wound up at Myrtle Beach SC. got a great room with a balcony on the 8th floor ocean front. We just needed a break and so here we are, planning on coming home on Sunday, but who knows. I did however bring my old beat around acoustic so I'm gonna enjoy that to. Were gonna have a few drinks tonight and relax. Tomorrow who knows!

Great Story MKM,

I'm so impressed that you had the nerve to do that, and to be able to share that moment with your Dad is incredible since he is the one who inspired you to start playing to begin with. I'm sure from the sound of it he enjoyed it as much as you did. Isn't it funny how things are never quite as bad as we percieve them to be in our minds, if we'll all just take that first plunge, we then look back and think "what the heck, that wasn't so bad after all" and now with each time you do it again, it'll be easier each time, it's all in the plateau's we reach and the hurdles we have to jump to become better. Again I know everyone is proud of you and take the time to be proud of yourself, you've earned it, "well done"

Great story Bensonp,

I love hearing about people who help kids along, give them direction, promise and hope. To do this in his condition makes it that much more remarkable.Nothing touches the human emotion like music, music and the heartfelt generosity of a man like him.In the words of Neil Young "Long may he run"

Congratulations Southpaw,

I'm sure your very proud of your new son, and wife, It's great they are both doing well and things are fine. A;ways a great feeling to know your a new Dad again, nothing in the world like a Father and Son bond. You get to teach him music, fishing, throwing the ball around, talks, life's lessons,There for them when life throws them a hardball, and there for them when they accomplish something they have worked for, no sir, nothing like a Father and son.

By the way, I vote for Taylor too!

For years on end I thougt in the Fleetwood Mac song "Edge of Seventeen" where Stevie Nicks sings "white winged dove" I thought she was singing "a wide window" Not sure now when or where I was when I figured out what it really was, but it's always at the point I'm sure we all have this dumb-founded look on our face.

Hey's Guys,

I'm just sitting here wondering if maybe it would be considered pushing it if you played them this song.

Well, My Bluedevils have beaten West Virginia, and have made it to the Championship game against the true Cinderalla team Butler. Monday night, one game for the Championship. Duke vs Butler, it makes a great stort David vs Goliath. It's gonna be fun, but I still need all the good karma you can help me with, so please send it my way.

Hi Doc, glad to see you back but I'm sorry to hear things aren't going as we'd all hoped. I'm not sure excatly if you mean't "your in deep s____" because of the nerves or financially because of medical bills or both, but if your ok money wise, I wouldn't make a rash decision to sell your guitars with that fine collection you have. Sit on it awhile if you can, please be sure you want to do that before you have thought it over. I hope, and I'm sure others here do as well, wish good things for you and all you've been through, sometimes things just have a way of working their way at, when it seems darkest. Good luck and please let us all know how things work out.
