DS thanks for the info and anything to do with recording is fine here,in these times of economic turmoil unfortunately quite a few enterprises are forced to close there doors or reorganize by laying off workers and only the strong and solvent survive as nature intended smile

Pix I'm useing my old Chordie moniker acapo and if you become a member and someone joins because they were referred by you they give you a few extra months on your one year membership,I would recommend downloading the free chess program from sourceforge called Scid you can setup any position and use an analysis engine to give some recommended moves or use it as a training tool it knows all the openings and variations plus you can program the color and size of the pieces and board and much more and you cant beat the price Free!! I am playing in one of there tournaments and at present I'm only involved with one game so I turned my challenge option off but if you want to play a game I can turn it on briefly to accept and turn it off again let me know ok smile

Hey Russ, I signed up today. Just finished the first game... It was fun! The first time I've ever played online chess! I put your name down as who referred me. Maybe that gives you kudo points or something... What's your ID on the site?  The people seem real friendly! I've already received invites to join others games.

Looks like you really need some good speakers make sure they have a sub woofer to handle the low freq's and rattle the dishes lol

Reb I think I have to agree with you, the stooges were a one of a kind comedy team as were Abbot and Costello, all the actors who will potentially make this new adaptation are some of my favorites and casting them in this remake film just dont appeal to me but thats just my opinion smile

I don't know... you can't mess with perfection you know. The stooges were just great,  but I'm not sure if anyody can pull it off in our modern age.

I have to agree with Alan with practice holding on to a pick is easier and another important thing is you can control the dynamics better(volume) this comes with practice and even experienced guitar players drop picks, doctoring up a pick may solve an immediate problem but it is not the long term solution smile

If you can convince the lady(and I'm sure you will find a way lol ) that sounds like a good plan, once you have recorded playback should be no problem I use some logitech PC speakers I paid $25 for and the bass comes out fine so long as you dont crank the p*** out of um, and with decent speakers it oughta sound great smile

These aren't stage monitors.  Ours get thrashed, which is why we don't spend a whole lot of money on 'em.  So long as I can hear the vocal mix on stage, I'm generally content with a stage monitor.

I've had a mild case of GAS for recording and mixing stuff.  Sweet Irish Thing is coming in a few days to buy furniture for the house.  She's also buying a TV, so my master plan is to convince her that so long as we're sporting for the Stoopid Box, we may as well get some nice *cough*speakers*cough* and call it an entertainment center.   big_smile

Yea Doug it is getting a little crowded but I needed the bass and the price was only $50 one of the pickups didnt work and they knocked the price in half and they will find one for me and replace it free (labor) everything I buy there is at cost so I do save a lot smile

I have to agree on your opinions everything seems to be the same tempo like a medley without meaning not sure of the device, it looks like there are six keys when the keys are pressed they pluck the strings I guess it saves wear and tear on his fingers in this case its quantity not quality he most likely repeats the same medley all the time I noticed not to many folks were putting any coins in his box smile
