We have one of those at work.  We call it "The Verizon Puck" and it's awesome. I do a lot of demos in customer buildings where network connectivity is sometimes hard to get.  I put the puck in my front pocket and become a walking talking hot-spot.

I don't think I would like to be a walking hot spot,do people aim phones, blackberrys and laptops at you?

Oddly enough, yes they do.  It's an occupational hazard.  smile

Jerome I hope they do have good aim! You might walk around and collect a fee for use, you could make some decent lunch money. This could be a new form of busking.

sonnya,Right now it may be best too be playing songs you know or have access to listen two so you can hear them, that way you will detect most chord changes. It is not easy in the beginning,so do not get frustrated. I do sometimes leave out a chord if the song still sounds good.

Hi russell I like the American Chess sets, they are all good though and patriotic to the u.s. .  You might think about adding something about Hand made by american craftsman. I for one try too buy american too keep the money here, but sometimes I have to buy from other countries. It is hard not too buy from Japan or China sometimes.

I joined Chesscorner.net its free and there is an option to become a member for a yearly fee of around 20 dollars and like Chordie very helpful members willing to help others once you learn the basics you can play other members for free with a interactive chess screen the only reason for the fee is there is no advertisement its self supporting and I have been a member for 2 years it dont cost anything to check it out, another site that's is free is chess games.com it also has a join option plus there are a number of free chess programs like Scid which have instructional lessons smile
