its always good to hear less well known songs from the past.
snoopys xmas was huge in NZ and still is.
An Americian band that used an English sounding name cashing in on the British invasion.

just re-read this phill,it is something special.
its great people finding  and enjoying stuff thats been posted ages ago

Thank you all again for comments,i know im far from perfect and know my limitations.
But it is lovely to share songs with you.
I have many a chordie song on a memory stick in my car,so be rest assured all you guys are getting
more listens that you think.i often put it on when i  have passengers and they get good comments.
i know some dont put songs on chordie, because of lack of feedback /conversation but i can assure you they do get heard!

Many thanks to everyone who had a listen.
its all about conversations, you play a song i listen ,then i say hey i`ve got a song too, and you listen.
its all about respect for anyone that is prepared to put themselves out there.
i take on critiques and it gives me something to think about.

heres a quicky i just banged out, about as blues as i can manage.

There seem to be a  lot of folk groups in NZ nowadays.
The ones ive seen are acoustic playing trad folk or folk rock, leaning toward bluegrass and amerciana or celtic
a real good mix of styles, but they seem to to generally call themselves folk

Jan

heres a folk song i did a while ago.
the back story is i have two penpals in Delaware they are both quilters
this is the old sending a letter type of penpal,it is organised through our local library.
i dont know what went wrong with my bio, i submitted,as i have no idea about quilting.
still its nice to have someone to correspond with.
