I just play. Not great. Just for my own enjoyment. If it ever becomes a chore, I won`t get any enjoyment from it. I also just make the best of my abilities.
Anyone here that knows me know how my tastes vary. Especially if they look through my binders of printed music.
When I get bored with what I have printed. I find new songs to play. How do I do it?? Public radio. ROKU and YouTube. Regular commercial radio does nothing. My settings are 92,5 and lower in my car and company truck. So I get to hear music I won`t hear on regular commercial radio. ROKU has an E Tuner. I can stream those same stations. All I need is the call letters. I can add them to my favourites. YouTube. I will play one song. Keep it playing and it automatically goes to the next song. I do this when I`m driving or working around the house. Just for background music. That`s when I hear something new or forgotten. Write it down. Find it online on here or one of the many  guitar sites online. Print it. Try to learn it.
    If I can`t find it with the chords. I can copy and paste lyrics. Figure out the chords and write them in. I am a chronic cheater. Crossing out and substituting. Moving them over . If I can`t handle a chord. I try different one`s until it sounds good enough. Cross out the nasty chord. Write in the one I`ll use.  Nothing is etched in concrete.
  There are plenty of songs and artists you`ve never heard or forgot about.
Also. Just because I print it doesn`t mean I can play it,. I hold onto them. I may figure it out months or years later.
The music is out there. You have to find it. It`s not going to come to you if you don`t look for it.
