Peatle
Thanks for that history,i knew a bit about that house but not all.
It`s a house i often pass and think of it as from another time
compared to all the new crappy houses  just up the road from it,
lets hope the developers don`t get hold of it
i used the photo because the song was about living 50 yrs ago
and it seemed an old house may convey that?

great reply,i guess we all do it for ourselves,as i`m a rank amateur
i never expected to share the stuff i do.But i was told not to sit on it
and put it out there.Every now and then a kind person will have a listen.
Thats very encouraging, they don`t have to like it,but it`s great that
someone has shown a little interest.
This could apply to any endeavor,i guess it`s part of being human.

peatle sent me this link, this guy described me and i would guess many of you.
if no one is interested in your music, this is worth watching.
maybe after watching this i will start putting  my crap on soundcloud again.
he has many valid points, have a look.

i drop by every day,it can go a few days before anyone puts up new posts.
It`s just so disappointing talking to yourself,so i rarely post stuff any more.

welcome to chordie
i can`t give you advice as it sounds you know far more than i.
but i agree about the baritone or tenor uke, they seem to be more an instrument
than the soprano ukes.don`t buy cheap, treat yourself with a nice uke
you deserve it.A quality instrument will be able to be sold if you don`t stick with it.
where as a cheap uke remains a cheap uke.

Peatle & TF
very interesting comments,i`ve all but given up on media.
much of it is opinion and often bias  at that.
Looks like around the world we are seeing a swing to the right
in recent elections,i think this is a reaction to the extremes of the left.
we are living in interesting times

i have to agree with BGD,it`s only my opinion others may disagree.
i don`t think you are doing yourself any favours with all that tech sounds.
i`m not hearing the real you.
always enjoy your covers

Joined a gym today
such a strange thing to do
cause my T shirts to tight
and my old jeans are too
well i may not have muscles
or even tatoos
but i`ve got a belly
thats giving me the blues
when i get skinny
take years off my age
maybe get fit
to turn a new page
so if you don`t recognize me
when next we meet
i`ll be that blurrrrrrr
sprinting down your street

great to hear from two great thinking men.
thinking almost seems like a lost art.many people just seem to
repeat what they been told, not able to think for themselves.

I don`t really listen to lyrics deeply i`m ashamed to say, this guy puts an interesting perspective
on two writers that are very different ,the poor guy is optomistic and the rich guy masquarading
as a poor guy is pesimistic.interesting?
ps i enjoy both of these performers.

Shes great,an actual talent on these type of shows is a rarity.
I hope she doen`t let them mould her into something different to what she is.
but i suspect they will.
