Are you refering to fast solo as in, it doesn't last very long or you've really got to move your fingers faster than the speed of light?

are you trying to create your own tabs?
are you trying to play a specific song?
are you using an electric guitar, and if so did you check to make sure that there's nothing wrong there?

if you're trying to create your own song with tabs you'll need to put everything into perspective. what i mean is break the song down. how fast is it, the count, the other instruments, etc.

maybe try watching videos of other musicians and watch there fingering while listening to the sounds that are created.

there are sites that you can go to to print up blank tab lines as well as blank chords.

There are a lot of great songs out there that don't get  listened to out of stuppidity.

There are a few songs out there, by someone who was either not born their or visited the place. The Star Spangled Banner and The Battle Hymn of The Repubulic are two such songs.

I agree, I think someone created some problem just to lure in some controversy, and while the patrons are fighting the bartender is selling his drinks.

This helps to clear a lot up for me. Granted I'm still in the process of learning to play, But it was a question all the same.

Sometimes when I would read the music it would appear to conflict with other, but to understand that there really isn't any universal Tab, as well as the direction of the Tab reading is clearing it up. I was told the right way I was just getting confused on how I was looking at it.

   Be proud of your freind, it takes a lot to play in front of others. So what if he can't play from memory. He enjoys playing. Have you ever sang along with a song and got the words all messed up, but you went on. It doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is that you enjoy what you're doing. Maybe your friend has a memory problem, or even a learning problem. Your friend may even be dislexic. It doesn't really matter. Encourage your friend and take a que from him, just keep on playing.
If it seems like you're in a rut then try a different style of music.
Then again your friend keeps on playing the same songs because those are the songs he likes.
Are you playing the songs you enjoy?

Sometimes a band will put out a song that was only done in recording because the music industry wanted it that way.
Then again you have those like "Axle Rose" that are great and they know they are great and don't care about the fans.
Sometimes it's the music industry and sometimes it's the artist.

Souls are twisted and mangled. Then a person walks in wanting to love them, and they don't understand that abuse isn't love. The person that has been abused will carry that abuse with them for the rest of their lives. Then the choice is, one, do I leave or, two, I stay.
I Believe that God sent me my wife. I told her that she is a gift to me from God, and I'm not going to just throw away his gifts. A family is a hard road and many are torn by so many outside forces. Families don't need the destruction to come from within. Sometimes, some families, try as they may just can't work out their differences, but it should never lead to abuse. If the relationship becomes abusive in anyway then I say that it should end. Sometimes relationships end without there being any abuse at all. It doesn't how it began or why it ended, it should never invovle the children, other than explination and a continued love from everyone. If it becomes abusive, then it should end. So many children are abused and are led to believe that it's their fault. So many women are belittled by their controlling husbands.

I don't know how the following will be received, but here it goes:
I believe that there is a place in Hell just for abusive people. God sent us someone for us to love and care for. When you torture a soul, it goes out of reach of Satan. Now God is angered because you've abused his gift and Satan is also angered because that soul now can't judge right and wrong, so how can the soul be judged as bad if it doesn't know what bad is. Satan just lost a soul, a soul that could possibly be used to lead others to him.
As Christ was hung on the cross, the angels drew their swords read to destroy those that placed Jesus there. They were stopped. The Bible never said that they had sheath their swords. I believe that they are still waiting to come down to earth with swords drawn. When they come it will not only be to gather the believers, but they will gather up all those that abused their gifts, and send them to Hell. Satan awaits them. Hell awaits them.

I'm not sure how I've been received, and I'll go ahead and appologize now if I've offended anyone in anyway. I don't want to start a holy war.
There are songs about abused people, but few laws to protect them.
The laws here in America a really messed up.

There are many professions out there that have a high divorce rate. Some jobs can distroy a family.
Maybe to cheer you up some, here's a shortened story behind my daughter (Racheal) birth.

The doctor had induced labor on my wife. It was time for Racheal to be born. The doctor and nurses were all in the room. The doctor told a nurse "go get him some gloves, he's going to deliver his daughter." He winked at me, so I thought he was joking. Then the nurse proceeded to tell the doctor, "You can't do that, it's against policy." I'm not sure if the doctor was just joking or he was serious, but when the nurse told him what he was and wasn't alloud to do it just changed everything. The doctor then said' "there's no time for a gown." He pointed at the gloves and told the nurse to get the gloves for me, he then told the nurse that he was the one that was in charge, not the hospital and certainly not the nurses. The nurse put the gloves on me. The doctor told me to hold my hands like I'm praying, I did. He then told me to hold my hands down, I did. He told me to open my hands, I did. " This is how you're going to catch your daughter," he told me. I got into position. I use this as an example; It was like heavan's gates had opened and this little angel flew out. She was crying out to me, "catch me daddy, catch me". I say the baby's head, the head came out, but the baby was stuck at the shoulders. The doctor placed his hands past mine and moved the baby and out she came. She was slipping and slidding and I was screaming and yelling, "help me, someone help me. God don't let me drop her, someone help me." The doctor reached under and lifted up, helping me place my daughter on my wife. He asked me if I wanted to cut the cord. My hands were shaking so bad I was scarred that I would cut my daughter. I told him yes. He placed the scissors in my hands and I cut. The cord wasn't cut all the way through so he repositioned it and this time he had to guide the scissors to complete the cut.

I'm sorry that being a doctor cost you so much.
If in weren't for doctors.
I was the first person to touch my daughter. My face was the first she saw.
My seven year old step-daughter has Cerebal Palsey.
If it weren't for doctors.
My wife was almost killed in a car reck when she was thirteen.

My christmas wish is that you would recieve at least one thank you for a life time of sacrifice. You've sacrificed your life so9 that others would have a life.

This song will reach many of ears.
Both of my step-daughters were physically abuse by their biological father. He was abusive towards my ,then his, wife.
Now their pain is mine.  For the rest of their lives they'll have to live with their past. As do I.

So many little angels are damaged by people that shouldn't be in their lives.
